Good quality part for a good price
This is the correct part for 1992 to 1997 Ford trucks with the ZF S5-42 or S5-47 5 speed manual transmission. It's got the higher quality metal parts rather than the plastic, which should be more durable. It was a direct bolt in replacement for the one I removed from our 1995 7.3 diesel. It has been working with no trouble since we put it in.

Takes the headache of clutch bleeding away
Put this on my 1995 f-350. After many failed attempts of trying to bleed the old setup, I purchased this with hopes of eliminating that headache. And it did exactly that, bolted it in and it worked perfectly. The pre filled system is definitely the way to go.

Works great, but safety switch was different for some reason
Started having issues with my clutch not disengaging randomly. Couldnt put it in reverse or change gears with the engine running. Install is really quite easy with the pre-bled unit. Well worth the money. 4 stars because while the safety switch on the new part fit my existing connector, it did NOT fit the metal tab that held the old one in place. Seems to work just fine as is though, and a zip tie is holding it in place for now unless I see a problem with that. I can always remove it and put the old switch back on if I need to. Parts must have been bad since Ive owned the truck, I put a new clutch in a few years back and always had a rough engagement. With the new parts, it honestly feels like a honda civic clutch now, very smooth and light pedal feel. Old master cylinder shaft was also very out of round due to the bushing wearing out and previous owner just using it metal on metal. So far so good! ------ See updated comment below

It fit in my 97 250 z f5. Nice part. If you need to replace your master or slave I recommend that you get his set as it’s far easier due to not needing to bleed it. The two are a pair and work great together. I should of swapped this out a while ago as my shifts are smoother now due to deeper Clutch disengagement.
