One thing I will state is that the we had to remove the desk drawer so our knees were not hitting it Im5 ‘ 5”It was easy to put together recommend an electric screw driver and get someone to help

I ordered 2 different items from this company. The desk and the matching shelving unit seen in the product photos. Both products were missing screws from the assembly kit.The desk top had a chunk missing out of it.Also, the packaging contained lots of loose styrofoam chunks which clung to the parts and got all over the place when trying to assemble; creating a huge mess. I've never seen this issue with other cheap amazon furniture.As other reviewers have noted, the desk is wobbly.

Fits very well in a small space yet provides adequate working space and nice sized shelves. For such a reasonable price, the desk is of good quality. It’s a bit wobbly but I’m sure once I get a few more items on the shelves it will stand firmer.All the pieces looked intimidating when I first opened the box but it was fairly easy to put together (took about 2-3 hours; with no assistant).

Perfect for use but it’s a lighter wood color

The finished product is nice looking and sturdy enough. The wood tone is slightly lighter than depicted in the photos, by the way. However, I do like it. The real review is me needing to note the sheer mental stamina and physical restraint from throwing pieces across the room in a rage that is necessary if you wish to assemble this nightmare. I have assembled dozens and dozens of furniture pieces - from Ikea, Wayfair, Amazon and more. This was by FAR the absolute WORST I have EVER experienced. You are essentially a breath away from having "planed and sanded" the "wood" yourself in that you can confidently tell a friend at the end of this "I built that desk" and it wouldn't be too much of a lie. Not "assembled it". You BUILD this mother. And all over the directions it tells you not to use power tools or it nulls the warranty. I am telling you....it is worth it to try perhaps. I am a huge rule follower so I didn't use power tools but I wish I did. It would have been worth it, even if the desk split in half and wound up being unusable and un-refundable. The directions are crud, the hardware is not great, and the pre-drilled holes are often non existent so you are left with trying to get a crappy screw through MDF and Laminate. I still have very tender bruises on my palms from the pressure it took on the screwdriver. In short - I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy this product again. You get what you pay for, I guess...though I have purchased other similarly priced pieces of almost identical style from other manufacturers that were much easier to assemble. Is the desk cute? Sure. Is it worth the hours of life I lost and the lingering pain from the effort? No. Avoid. Move on.

Holy balls does this thing wobble no matter how tightly I screwed everything in. Scares the crap out of me. It would probably help if it had a cross bar on the base where the legs are. Unfortunately, I might have to get crafty. But I'm keeping it because I have no other choice; it's compact(ish) and in my price range. The drawer isn't very sturdy so anything semi heavy pulls it down and I'm apprehensive to open the drawer all the way.
