The light is white. The brightness is adjustable and impressive. If it were yellow, it would be super deceiving (and a joy) as a "candle" lamp! Nice construction and quality heft. Only thing i would change is the always on bright red light indicating it's power. It's nearly a little red lamp on its own. But a little tape can handle it just fine. The blow to turn on function is spot on awesome. Great for the late night house ambler.

The light is bright but having to blow to turn it on and off is annoying. Not to mention the breath condensates on the inside and makes the lamp look cloudy until it evaporates. Not very romantic! It should have an on/off switch for those who prefer it. It does have a switch to turn it off, but to turn it back on one must blow into it.

The wrong style was shipped. Other than that, it works great!
