Love it
I was hesitant to get this initially because of the negative review about connectivity. However, I had zero issues with it. I don't live in a huge house so I'm not sure if that does anything. My baby was in the NICU and had breathing problems so I wanted something for a piece of mind. I love how it tells me the breathing rate of the baby being a nurse myself. I also like it telling me what sleep state the baby is, I found that pretty accurate along with the breaths. I'm not sure about the accuracy of the temperature reading though. Overall, I recommend this product because it's easy to use, as long as you put your fingers when clipping onto the diaper you wont have to worry about it pinching the skin.Very easy to put on and off and I like how you can use it of all months of age. I had the Owlet 2 and had to return it because it required slower WIFI which didn't work for me. In hindsight, I'm glad it didnt work out, the owlet was more expensive and the sock as a nuisance.

FALSE ALARMS and just…. No
I really gave this product multiple tries with multiple different placement techniques— even retried after we were out of newborn diapers bc the size 1s go higher on his tummy. I tried putting a small band over it so the widget would stay clipped/pick up baby’s shallow sleep breathing.Regardless of my efforts and attempts, this product was constantly and randomly disconnected (when baby was sleeping/not moving). Similarily, the false alarms for no breathing motion were substantial and far outweighed the potential effectiveness / hope in the product.I spent more time than id like figuring out which monitor to go with, as this is child number three, compounded by the worry after a post-labor-NICU-stay.Just… dont. Pick something else

So helpful
Honestly I was so nervous after reading the reviews on this but thought I'd give it a try over an owlete. BUT, I absolutely love it. I haven't had a single issue with the app, connection or anything other reviews complained about. The temperature is not accurate at all but the breathing definitely is, which is why I wanted it anyways. I'll even watch to check and make sure its reading correctly. Its honestly helped me sleep so much better at night especially with my pp anxiety being pretty bad. If your on the fence and thinking about the possibility of one I highly recommend it. I've been using it every single night, and a couple times in the car seat for 3 weeks and its only come off once and went off to let me know right away.

New parent Honest 3 day review
So I believe the Snuza Pico 2 is a great product. It works as advertised and gives me great peace of mind. The pros are accurate motion detection and body positions and the temperature has seemed accurate within a degree so far. The Alarm works well to alert us parents and hasn't woken up my baby screaming(which is what I was worried about). Cons the device may be pulled off by your baby, which was our first false alarm. The second false alarm happened when my baby turned slightly and the pico was lifted off her skin. The only other con I have is that it can only be connected to one device via Bluetooth at a time, my wife and I share an iPad and have our pico and camera set to it so it doesn't bother us much. Honestly I am not dissatisfied with having false alarms, I am much more pleased knowing this product works well. I fall asleep fast knowing that if anything happens an alarm will ring on our nightstand, compared with waking up every hour and checking to see if my newborn is breathing.

Don't buy if you have a Pixel or Samsung 20 software doesn't work.
Bought this product for the all around function. Bought it 4 months before baby was born. Return option gone by the time I got to use it. It does not work with Pixel 3 die to the 11 OS, or the Samsung Note 20. Snuza customer service of course has no solution so I am out $70 could have bought an older version without all the function had I know it was useless.

Snuza vs Owlet
Tried the Snuza pico 2 and the owlet for my 2 month old and I have to say I prefer the owlet. Soon as I got the Snuza it did not display advertised features because it needed firmware updating right out of the box. I found the set up and the device itself to be flawed functioning wise. It constantly beeps and sends alert notifications regardless of how you maintain the settings. The Snuza is on the more affordable end compared to the owlet but in this case I can honestly say you get what you pay for. Overall just did not prefer it plan to return it.

Eased my wife's worries
My wife was very concerned with our newborns breathing during the night. So much so that she wouldn't sleep herself. The Pico 2 has relieved those worries and I'm happy to say she's sleeping now. She's confident that it will alert her if the baby rolls over or stops breathing. Allowing her to sleep is worth whatever price.

Disappointed many false alarms
I have ended up purchasing a different monitor for my daughter after spending close to $200.00 on this monitor. Every night I am getting false alarms that my daughter is not breathing, none of these alarms are factual, each time my daughter has been breathing, fast asleep no issue and this is been proven true with the recent purchase of the owlet monitor. The alarm went off 5 time in one night each time I checked the position of the system as well as her heart rate and oxygen levels, no issues but the alarm goes off. The app will also eat away at the storage on your phone causing issues with bring up the app or any other app. Do not recommend, pay a little more and get a reliable monitor.

Poor Bluetooth range/ false alarms
The snuza pico has very poor Bluetooth range. If my baby is napping in their room, i can't be farther than one room away for the snuza to connect to my phone. It also sends off several false alarms (mostly when baby is on tummy), when you can visibly see the baby breathing. These false alarms would be okay (as I would rather get a false alarm than no alarm) however, in order to silence the alarm you need to press the button on the actual snuza.... which involves rolling the baby over, unzipping sleep sack and PJs in the middle of the night and obviously waking up the baby..... would make more sense to be able to acknowledge/ reset the alarm from your phone. The app also does not send push notifications or alarms to your phone unless you are currently on the app. If you close it out, minimize it, or lock your home screen... you will not get notifications. Overall, I enjoy having some piece of mind that it will alarm if there is an issue... but ultimately it is not worth almost $300.
