They are low quality Dexter Chinese knock-offs apparently sponsored by Schlage but certainly not Schlage quality.

This is not a lock made by Schlage. It is the exact same lock as a Defiant branded lock. It is made by a Chinese manufacturer and other companies slap their name on it. I am very disappointed.

I purchased an identical lockset by the same manufacturer at one of the big box retailers. I was disappointed with the quality so I bought one of these for less than the big box store charges. It was very easy to install in three simple steps by the instructions. All the parts I needed were included and it fit perfectly in a pre-hung door. I am very satisfied with the quality and would buy two more but for the fact that you cant buy them keyed alike. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 only because they don't sell them keyed alike.

Replacing the front door latch and deadbolt was simple and efficient. The product was delivered before it was promised, and fit the existing holes just fine. Schlage's lifetime guarantee might be fine for the first 30 or 40 years, but try to prove you own it after 50 years.

We wanted an easy to open door knob and lock and my husband installed this easily and found it quite satisfactory. Not as cheap as some but we live where the salt air is tough on door locks and this one seems like a good choice.

We got the Stainless Steel Stain, works well as described by seller. You do need to know how to install door & locks otherwise you need to have installed.

The pins and springs are sealed, can't rekey easily (compare to other capped pins)

Husband installed them without a hitch. They are functional and look very nice.

I had high expectations for this lock set but…This is the low end version of a Schlage lockset. These are not true Schlage quality.Fine for well monitored areas or where people move around a lot. I would not use these locks on a door that is obscured by darkness or hidden away from view.Incidentally, these locks are identical to the Gatehouse brand they were supposed to replace but the quality seemed lower. I returned the locks because the mechanism was shifting in the housing.

Not as robust as I would like, the handle has a lot of slop in it, and the deadbolt is less secure than the contractor grade one I was hoping to replace it with.
