This book as packed with examples that show movement, flow and acting! A must have addition to any artists library 😉👍

Traditional animation techniques are covered in this book. With the exception of some of the cartoon features which are quite dated, basic movement doesn't change so it's exactly what I was looking for. I don't know anything else to compare it to because I just knew I couldn't go wrong with an oldie but goodie.

I wanted to get the book again because was lost while moving,I like this high end magazine format ,also the seller sent a thank you note which was a nice detail. The book arrived a bit bent(not too much though, was sent to the other side of USA ,understandable) great basic product if you want to start or keep doing animation .Thank you!

Great book all around - just take note that the hip above the passing foot needs to be higher than the hip over the planted foot (the opposite of what’s in the example in the book).

So much good info! I have the Animators survival kit book also and these two really play good together! I’m only sad it took me so long to buy it

I bought this as a gift for an awesome up and coming animator. The principals apply to all animation forms and are very approachable.

The book itself is great for learning to animate characters.The book was not packed well so the binding was a bit torn and the page edges a bit jacked. Amazon's packaging definitely needed some assistance.
