Yes comfortable,this product is ideal for what I needed,I have a wood frame king size bed and sitting up to read is a nightmare,even with 3 pillows plumped up behind me.I'm sat like a banana and my neck always rests against the edge of the hard wood bed head.Now I use one pillow against the headboard the back rest then another pillow.Very comfortable
