Key Performance Indicators (KPI): The 75 measures every manager needs to know (Financial Times Series)

Extremely useful by anyone in business and most consultants
Bernard,You are an angel for what you did with this book! It is exactly what we needed. The book is clearly explained, magnificently formatted, and for me, 1000% useful page after page!I love the sections, from financial things every MS Fin can quote in their sleep (but not the rest of us) to customer perspectives and sales and marketing KPIs (for those with marketing and advertising needs). So often, these are overlooked or ignored. Then it moves to operational and process and supply/waste mitigation (very useful for those of you planning on achieving the new ISO 9001:2015 certification) to Employee perspectives (important for OD practitioners and branding consultants) and finally to corporate and social responsibility and sustainability (so that you don't get accused of quoting the trendy "blah blah de jour" without facts to back up your claims.I hope Bernard will write a sequel with another 75 KPIs!

Well organized, highly useful, efficiently structured with just the info you need: definition of the KPI, how it’s gathered, any costs, simple formula for calculating it, industry averages, tips/tricks, references. Well done.

I use this book as a supplemental textbook for a graduate class I teach on Quality & Productivity. It is very well written and it really illustrated the importance of selecting the right metrics for running a business.

Good book for identifying some key business indicator calculations and metrics.
Great book. Lots of good examples. I like how it was broken down into metrics by key functional areas. I also liked that they performed the sample calculations to indicate the indicator in practice.

A good summary
I wanted to rate this higher. It's a great compilation of KPIs. I just can't ignore the editing. So many typographical errors. A proof reader was required. That said, this is still a great collection of summaries of KPIs. You won't get comprehensive explanations, and there are other KPIs of course that those that would know these should be cognisant of, but if you don't have the time or inclination to compile the data yourself, then buy this.
