The problem with this product, is that if you a regular consumer trying to replace your own screen, then you probably (like I do) lack the skills and tools to use it effectively. The problem i had is that this does not have the electronic leads pre-installed, so you will have to carefully peel back the *extremely small* metal contact strip from your broken unit, and then try like hell to align them on this product. I tried for HOURS to make this happen. If you are watching a video on youtube and it looks pretty easy - then please keep in mind those videos are not using this product. Those videos use a digitizer screen that already has the leads connected, this product does not. If you are not 100% sure what you need, and/or you have never done this repair before, then do not buy this product.

BE WARNED: This product does not have the IC chip included with it. It doesn't say it has it included, but unless you've taken one apart before you don't know that you need one. Selling something where you have to solder it yourself is ridiculous, ESPECIALLY if they do not mention this in their description. The glass also does not have the two needed indentations for the small magnets to fit in along the edges.Don't buy this product, seriously.

just figured that i need an ic chip.... if it is your first time replacing a screen dont buy this buy one with ic chip now ill have to order another one WITH IC CHIP AND HOME BOTTOM since donnt have one aether

This is only the digitizer which requires you to Sauder pieces together completely pointless waste of money just buy one with the screen assembly attached already
