As you can see by the pictures against the black,it's not black but a medium gray and it's very disappointing :( I am using it inside my house with black granite and a black TV stand, so although it works because I also have stainless steel appliances, it's not what I wanted and probably would have passed having known. All the reviews are for the chair and nothing much about the table, so a roll of the dice, but the price was good at $102.00.The Positive: It's a great size, is about an inch higher than my current table, easy to build, and surprisingly sturdy, and the glass IS tempered and beveled, and a frame is attached to the back side so no shifting or sliding off, tipping with something heavy. I have 4 armless wooden Windsor chairs I am painting white to match the legs and they fit pretty well underneath with only about 5" inches that do not touch the table. 2 chairs fit better, but in a pinch, you can fit 4. I will buy gray cushions to match the table to tie it together. The thin design makes it a modern look and has self-adjusting feet to twist to level the table from rocking. It has a non-reflective coating that is not translucent being glass. The finish has a slight bumpiness to it as well, not 100% smooth as you would expect, I guess for the outside use and fingerprint friendly?Negative: Not as described, and not blackAll and all, I am keeping it since I built it and probably will like it more once my chairs get finished and pull it all together. It will work in my small living /dining room combo and replace a much larger 45" table.UPDATE***I changed my review to 5 stars, and after it was all together with the chairs I am loving it!It looks really nice with the cushions, the perfect size, and best of all, probably the sturdiest table I have ever owned! Even though it's not black, it works well and maybe even better than expected!

Oh my gosh these chairs are gorgeous!!!! Not only that but they are so comfortable. It is delivered in a large box and the only work you need to do is cut open the box, pull out the chairs and remove the foam packaging....that's it. There is no need to put anything together which is an added bonus.These look so expensive and I've had numerous compliments on them. The other added bonus is that they stack so you can easily store them when not in use.Just buy these. You won't regret it.

Really loved how easy this table was to put together. I barely had to check the instructions and they included all necessary hardware. A great buy if you're looking for that pristine, modern design.

The chairs are great quality for the price, reasonably comfortable for dining chairs! We wanted something that was not too expensive as I tend change my style often. I am happy with the width of the seat and my hips don’t feel squished (I have wide hips) and have room to be comfy. Overall very satisfied and would recommend. (Note: the plastic foot on one of the chairs was damaged, it’s a small plastic piece. We are hoping the manufacture will replace). This is a minor concern for us. Still 5 stars.

They’re nice and comfortable. The feet of the chair are plastic and one was crushed during shipping. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t have any replacement parts and I cannot find any online.

I purchased these chairs for both inside and outside use. They are so attractive and comfortable that i immediately placed them as two main chairs in my dining area and a tete-a-tete arrangement for another. They look stylish, are comfortable and are complete standouts! Great value for money, too!
