No more lifting!
I’m a senior and had a heck of a time lifting a 64 pound manual wheelchair into our SUV. This carrier has saved me, literally! It’s so easy now: collapse the chair, tilt the base down, roll the chair on, click the base back to level and secure the arm over the chair. I couldn’t be an happier with this purchase!

So so
In theory it's a great idea. The latch is sometimes difficult to disengage to lower the wheelchair. It's only been on the car maybe 2 months and is already rusting and 1 of the bolts snapped in 2 after only using once.

Assembly to the hitch mount bar is difficult
I have to be in a wheelchair for a few more months, and my wife is unable to lift it into the car. Having no need for an expensive ramp I thought this solution would be ideal both for my wife and myself. The instructions are not very clear on mounting the wheelchair carrier to a hitch mount bar. I have a SUV and the receiver is at the maximum height shown in the instructions. If the carrier were attached the way it was indicated, the wheelchair carrier would wobble from side to side since there is nothing that can be done to stabilize it. We considered having the carrier welded to the hitch, but chose instead to grind off a portion of the hitch bar and mount it inside the raised sides. In this position, the carrier seems to be more stable. I'll give it four stars for the time being.

Very easy to use.
The wheel chair is heavy to lift in and out of my car. This allows me to wheel the chair right on the ramp with no heavy lifting. Very convenient

Unstable
Item was very unstable. It rocked back and forth. When I put the Wheelchair on it, it started tilting. When I called the seller they stated I can return it at my own cost even though it doesn’t work.

Perfect carrier - almost 5 star; fantastic customer service
This carrier is easy to use and the company customer service is great.A Few tips: The instructions aren't quite perfect, so allow a few extra minutes for installation. From photos:1. The blue knob on the carrier arm wobbled off while driving, yet the wheelchair stayed in place perfectly. (My error, I may not have tightened it down properly.) I contacted the company on a weekend - asking how to purchase a replacement knob. Instead of returning my call, they sent a replacement immediately, at no charge. (I used a bungee cord for the few days in between, but the carrier is so secure, I probably could have skipped using them.)2. Buy a long enough hitch adapter for full opening, if your garage allows. Mine doesn't.3. Get some reflective tape for when the strips that are supplied fall off.4. When the wheelchair is on the carrier and ready for removal, pulling out the release handle requires a good bit of muscle. A small glob of naval jelly has worked like a charm, even while driving in snow, ice, mud, etc.I am 60 and partially disabled (arms) and needed this for my mom. It has been a lifesaver. I love it. Really great product quality and service, and you can't beat the price!

It works but not easy to use
The securing bar makes loading and unloading very difficult. Believe I will toss it and use bungee cords. The stabilizer is not an option. It requires 4 M6 1" machine screws, not supplied. The latch that allows tilt for loading did not work until I took it apart and filed the receiver smooth. Still with the weight of the loaded chair it is not possible for an elderly person to pull the release handle in order to tilt the carrier for unloading. I carry a large crescent wrench to pry it open. I would return it but I need a carrier and cannot find an alternate. This could be a good product if the manufacturer understood the concept o quality assurance.
