This is an animated cartoon, made in conjuction with Saturday Night Live. It is not segments from the SNL show, but an animated special inspired by the show. It has the voice actors and the characters are the same. The animation is by the famous Rankin/Bass Studio and is made in a traditional 2D cell drawn animation. It was shown on NBC television in 1983 as a TV special, and is 23 minutes long. It is something that may not be of interest to you unless you are a Conehead fan. The Coneheads were part of a regular live segment on early Saturday Night Live episodes. The segment was about a family of aliens from another planet that moved to earth and are trying to blend in. The humor was related to how their customs, and ignorance of our own customs, clashed on everyday things. I hope this helps.
