Amazing repair product!! Absolutely works
2001 Durango R/T. Over a year after install and I still have amazing cold AC not only from the front but also from the separate rear system. I didn't want to have to give up my rear air so I opted for a repair instead of a delete and I'm really glad I made that choice. Obviously a little mechanical know-how is of great importance here when dealing with compression fittings and the proper cutting/chamfering/prep of SST lines, as well as the proper vacuum purge and charging of auto HVAC systems; but if ya can handle that stuff then these repair kits are ABSOLUTELY the way to go!

Good design. Hose clamp tool required.
The design is clever. You will need a hose clamp crimp tool for the flexible side of the connection.

Great product. Easy to install. Don’t give up on your leaky AC line.
Great product. Easy to install once you get the length right. Just make sure your lines are super clean or you will get a leak.Comes with about 30” of 3/8 AC hose and real Oetiker crimp clamps. It’s much easier if you have the Oetiker crimp tool but the interwebs have wisdom if you need to over come the lack of.The length of the hose is nice for areas where you may get more than one leak. Like over(behind) the wheel well. So before you cut the hose to length check all the surrounding areas for leaks. One additional note: the ferrule and rubber seal are one time use only. However with some careful shmaganery (I made that word up), you might be able to correct by removing the piece of AC line with the ferrule connected and adjust it back to size. Not fantastic but doable. The only beef I have is that it’s a bit too pricey. But then again, beats replacing the whole line or using some other sketchy compression fittings. After installing, I took the car to the shop for evac and recharge and they do have to inspect before they do the procedure. They gave the product a thumbs up.

2013 suburban. Great product.
Repaired a 25" section of high pressure line on my 2014 suburban. The area above the rear passenger wheel is notorious for corroding. Super easy instructions to follow.Make sure you have some 3 in1 oil or some mineral oil to lubricate the cut ends. Steel wool helps make it like brand new for the new compression fitting. You will need a nipper of some sort to crimp the Oetiker clamps. I used an 8" carpenter nipper. Worked fine, good and tight. No leaks yet and held at 220psi with the a/c on fill blast. Will update if it fails.

Looked to be great quality
Was not able to use it as I ordered it and it said it was a 3/8” kit and the box said 3/8”. But the fitting inside the box were in bags that said 5/8”. My guess was just a one off mistake. But looked to be great quality.

Missing parts !
Great quality kit, to repair a damaged line in a 2007 Yukon. It only shipped with 2 of the 4 required crimp rings.Yet, the box was sealed, so a little more quality control please. I couldn't find 3/8 oetiker crimp rings anywhere locally.Either I had to wait another week, or install it with one clip per side instead of two. Well, fingers crossed.
