I bought this for a white elephant gift exchange and the boys were FIGHTING over this! Liars dice is our favorite game to play on drinking nights and this set is just so cute. Really nice attention to detail, the pirate vibe adds to the fun. Even the dice are lovely. Very easy to pack up and store away. If you like to play liars dice, GET THIS!

Cute box comes with 6 cups, 31 dice, a manual, and a board. If you package them a certain way the box is way bigger than needed. You could stack the cups all together and fit all the dice inside easily. The box had this nice label on the outside that held the two halves together and you’re expected to throw it away, it’s too flimsy to keep using as its just paper and it will rip eventually but it makes me wish for a proper cloth one to hold it shut or some other feature. Cups are fake leather over black plastic cups with a cardboard feeling insert to pretend the whole cups leather with the grain on the inside. It’s just aesthetics so its fine I wasnt expecting a fancy set just worth noting for people looking at this one.

It’s fine, but the rules are a little different than when I’ve played other versions. The biggest issue with this rule set is there is a scenario where nobody loses any dice, we’ve played when 5+ rounds in a row nobody loses any dice. In the future we are house ruling that particular aspect.
