Guitar Man
Great quality and work really well. A way better value than the Schaller strap locks but made for a Fender

The best strap locks for your Rickenbacker Bass or Guitar
I had bought another set of strap locks that was supposed to be universal, and would likely have worked well had the posts on my Rickenbacker 4003 been larger at the top. Unfortunately they are skinny with very little lip, and I did feel confident about stability, and the posts "floated" in the locks too much. As I looked on-line for other products, I noticed in the photos that the Fender locks and posts looked like they would work better. To my great satisfaction, the fender posts and the Rick posts are exactly the same width and shape- so I did not even have to change the posts out! The locks work beautifully, and are rock solid stable- no "float" whatsoever. Best of all- the Fender Locks were ONE THIRD the price of the other leading brand. The look also is really cool, and I will be buying them for my other gear as well. Great job Fender!

Perfect straplock set...
I bought this straplock set to replace the stock, non-locking bottons on my Strat. From opening the package through removal of the old buttons from the guitar to installation of and strapping on with the new set took, literally, less than five minutes. If you're replacing stock Fender buttons on a stock Fender strat (or other models, I would imagine, but I can only speak to stock, American strats), this is the perfect product in that the screw holes, the screws, the buttons, spacers, everything, fit like a glove. No alterations were required at all. They're made with solid construction, the locks slip and on and off the bottons easily, and they feel like they were born on the instrument. I have nothing but praise.PROS:--exact fit in replacing stock strat parts, right down to the screws--all parts work well together, locking, unlocking and holding--solid constructionCONS:--it'd be nice if the kit included a simple cast wrench to tighten the washer bolts onto the strap. Most household wrenches are kinda cumbersom for this task as it's a pretty small washer, but that's a minor point, overall, and it certainly doesn't speak to the overall quality of the product, just something that would be nice to have.I strongly recommend!

Easy to install, convenient.
Love em. Having them on all my guitars makes it easy to switch between axes with the same strap. They're easy to install and worth the price.

Work good but difficult to install
I have three of these and they were all hard to install. On my Fender Jazz Bass the screws were bigger so I needed to drill out the holes on the buttons to make them fit. All three of the straps I used seemed to be too thick to fit the threads on the lock. I had too really mash the straps down to get the washer and nut to catch the threads. But once on they work and look great.

Good Fender stuff
These are good. I would buy them again.

Good quality
The screws are long and I was paranoid when installing the button on my acoustic guitar. Make sure you drill a pilot hole and measure the needed length on your drill bit. The spring is very strong on the lock. No chance for the strap to slip off. Good quality

Good product, but use Thread-Locker prior to installation
I am a professional guitarist, and have been gigging for 35 years. I started out with Schaller strap locks on my main gigging guitars, but as my guitar collection grew, I ended up with some ProLine and eventually some Fender Strap Locks. Most recently, I had one of knobs (that you pull to release these locks from the guitar) pop off for no apparent reason. I had not banged it on anything and was shocked when it came off for seemingly no reason. I figured it was a defective unit and ordered another. Ten months later, the same thing happened to the replacement set.In removing the strap lock from the guitar (with tools), I noticed that the knob had NOT broken off, as I had originally thought. Rather, it simply became unscrewed from the spring loaded plunger bolt. I reassembled it, this time with Loctite (thread-locker). I also unscrewed the other lock knob and did the same. I don't think I will encounter that problem ever again.I will continue to use these strap locks, and when I put a new set on a new guitar, I'll remove the knobs and reinstall them with Loctite prior to installing them on my guitar/strap. Problem solved. These types of strap locks will eventually wear out (metal on metal), but it takes years of heavy use to do that, and for $10 a set, I'm quite satisfied with them. Oh, and I also tighten them onto the strap with hand tools because if you try to tighten them by hand, without tools, they won't stay put.
