The tree is largely constructed of white plastic-y type needles over laid on a very pale blue. I am fine with this, but wanted to mention it in case anyone is expecting solid white or white on green. I think faux mercury glass ornaments look great on it.First the good:-The tree is very easy to put together, with few parts.-The branches rotate easily to allow you to shape the tree to your heart’s desire.-The stars and even the fiber optic tips are attachable—my tree arrived with one fiber optic tip detached, and it was no problem to reconnect it.-From floor to star, seems like 5’, but the diameter is not overly large, so won’t dominate a small home.My critiques:-The original image and description is out of date. The tree no longer includes any means of controlling the light functions. I know how to look for hidden controls, even controller bulbs. This tree ships without that function, so if that is critical to you, don’t buy this tree.-The construction is very light, and not what I would consider particularly sturdy. I would not want this in a house with young children or super aggressive cats, as they will easily collapse or knock over the tree. I don’t have either, so not bothered by this.-I wanted a tree that was a bit over the top, and this delivered. If that’s not you, this might be a bit hard to love.For the money this was a reasonable value, but I do wish I could at least control the speed of the lights.

The tree was a gift for our adult daughter's first home. They are the younger crowd mid 20's so its a hit! they love it!!! They have shared everything since birth so a tree seemed like the next best thing lol. The both like purple/pinks and the the like. I am advised that it went up very quickly with little fuss. Very little shedding and it looks very nice lit or not, It is an inexpensive tree for a first home or for someone maybe like us buying for the kids across the country. The tree arrived nicely packaged, arrived quickly, of course, I ordered it a few weeks ago. I would certainly recommend this tree if this is the type of tree you are considering for the price it's awesome

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So...my thoughts...I thought the blue was going to be darker. It's light, like cornflower blue. But it's still cool. The star covers don't lock onto the lights so they fall off easily so just be careful! It looks so pretty all lit up. My biggest let down is that the description said there were 8 light settings...there are 2...even on the slowest setting my room is like a rave. It's not a good tree if you like to relax with the tree lights on (seriously disappointing to me). It is so bright! Way more light than I could have expected. Overall it's really pretty and definitely different. It still looks nice when the lights are off. Overall it's a fun tree, just be ready for the light show!

The tree was somewhat easy to assemble. Common sense really takes over with putting it together if you have ever put together an artificial tree before. The plastic stars were in a seperate bag so you have to plug it in to find all of the spots they should go. Some of them dont snap in so Im going to use some glue. They are optional to use if you dont use glue. 3 of them fell off easy but like I said, glue will fix that. All of the fiber optics light up. While not plugged it, the tree looks white and blue but all of the purple stars over powers that once plugged in. It took me a good while to fluff it as much as possible. While turned off it looks bare. Once the lights are on, you couldnt tell that at all. The settings have 2 or 3 diff modes for flashing by a push button on the bottom electrical box. It is 5 foot tall and really pretty. I just wish the purple wasnt so purple. Im a blue person and wanted blue stars but Im not complaing. Its more than what we had.Shipping took about 4 days.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I chose this tree so my kids could reach to decorate it, it’s so cute. It even looks pretty in the daylight. Only issue is if you have epilepsy it could most definitely cause seizures due to Rapid blinking and changing speeds. Otherwise adorable little tree!

If you tend to have an issue with flashing lights, do not buy this tree. I would have absolutely no problem with it, if I could just stop the awful blinking. There is no way to set a mode or even just adjust the blinking speed. The kids like it, but if it weren't for them, I'd send it back. No way is it worth $70.

so beautiful, amazing colors .It can be a party tree , with flashing lights or switch modes and it is a slow progression of different colors ,the base is different from one shown here ,its metal but not a big deal . the packaging was rough it seemed as if it had been opened ,every thing just fell out ,plastic bags ripped open ,no instructions ,but I think every thing was there I am very happy with this tree ,the prettiest fake tree ever !!

Returning tomorrow and disappointed. It's blue covered in white which would be been ok for my needs except lights are seizure inducing there was NO way to adjust. Do not recommend. I ended up at Wayland bought a tree and fading /multi function lights. Very disappointing.
