But what I like is that it's not a two-part
Outstanding case -- exactly what I was looking for for my new nano. It doesn't cover the front screen (should be obvious, but for whatever reason isn't to all -- it's a touchscreen device) -- there are screen protectors, similar to what people use on their phones, for outright screen protection. But what I like is that it's not a two-part, hard-plastic case. Which means it won't crack through wear & tear over the course of time, i.e. from removing it occasionally (this happened with the case on my 5th gen nano). The case really does fit like a glove. It's also not a cloudy sort of material, so my custom engraving on the back is completely readable through the case. I can charge it without having to remove the case. And it hardly adds to the thickness/aesthetics of the nano, which remains light & sleek. Highly recommended

armor!
Pops right on securely. The purpose of buying this? I destroyed my previous Nano by dropping it, denting the audio port (which I did three times!) and rendering nano useless. My new nano went into this thing. Then fell out of my pocket onto hard cement when I was bent over reaching down for something - zero damage! The light weight of the nano didn't create enough force to dent Nano from drop, as case absorbed shock. Plus it has a non-tacky, neat look. I combined this with one of those stick-on permanent tempered glass things on the screen, and I have a translucently armored Nano. Woot!

I'd give this a 5 star review, but there are two issues. The first, while minor, is a bit annoying. It's that the company insignia is placed EXACTLY where the custom inscription goes on this model ipod. There's so much clear space on the back of this case but they had to pick the perfect spot that would block the special inscription I got put on the back. The second is a bit more of a design flaw and it's that the bottom of the case is so thick that I can't actually plug it into a charger without taking the case off. Of course I can just take off the case but that defeats the purpose.

Get What You Pay For
The case fits snugly on to my iPod. Please note that it does not cover the front just the back and sides. The case is not slippery or hard but kind of rubbery. I did not have trouble with the earphone plug or the Lightning cable not seating all the way in their plugs but I can see why some others might because the material of the case looks lit it is almost a mm thick. The design of the case button press over the power and the volume is quite poor as it takes more force than you might expect. I'm not returning it because it is inexpensive and honestly you get what you pay for but I doubt I'll get another.

Simple but nice clear case.
This is a nice light-weight slim option for your iPod. It fits perfectly on my 7th generation. The buttons and holes all line up well. You will find the top power button tougher to push but not a big deal. I accidentally dropped it onto a stone tile floor and there was no damage! There is no screen protector, so I ordered a tempered glass for the front (I have not put it on yet). The one negative - I use a large auxiliary line in my car and cannot plug it in far enough with the case on. However, since I typically use bluetooth, it's not a deal-breaker for me.

Not great for what I need it for.
On the upside, it'll protect the ipod well. It'll be ok when I use it with my headphones. It's truly clear like I wanted, but that's it. Downsides: I wanted it clear so I could see the engraving on the back. The logo is printed upside down and covers the engraving. The thickness of the plastic doesn't allow for the plug to use with my speakers which is my main use of the ipod. And it's a little hard to press the buttons. Mostly a waste of money, but it'd be more of a waste to pay to ship back.

Good sturdy case
Easy to put on and holds iPod well. It doesn't cover the glass screen, but I bought a screen protector for that and the two work well together. My favorite part is that it fits in the i2 Gear arm band I bought for running without me having to take the case off! One down side is that because it's a harder material it can be a little difficult to push the buttons but my wireless headphones allow me to change songs and volume without touching the iPod so it hasn't really mattered.

Great case!
This case was easy to put on my ipod nano. It is quick to slip on and off when needed. I bought a screen protector to put on my screen and between the two, my nano is safe now. I sadly drop my ipod from time to time and so far so good. I love the case and separate screen protector I bought. The case is rubbery but still sturdy. I haven't had any issues with plugging in ear buds, cords, or charging cables into my device when the case is on.
