Wilton Icing Decorations 12/Pkg-Paw Patrol, Assorted

I used these to decorate my dog's birthday cake. (I am dyslexic, yes, the 2 is backwards). I was a bit worried after seeing the reviews. They are a bit difficult to get off the paper, but I found if you roll the cardboard away from the back of the candy, instead of trying to peel the candy off the back, they come of nicely and intact. They taste like sugar cubes. They dog's didn't eat them, but I tried one. No complaints, I would definitely buy again and recommend.

I got these for my daughter’s birthday cake and they worked so well and looked great! I was afraid they might turn mushy from the moisture in the cake but they didn’t, they stayed firm even after being refrigerated on left over cake days later.

Good little decorations... A few were broke when I received then but the ones that were not were perfect for my 4 year olds cake

This idea was great, and when they arrived, they were the described colors. However, when trying to remove the paws from the packaging, they either cracked in half or had paper stuck to them. After that obstacle, the paws melted within five minutes of being placed on the frosting. Overall, they were a cute touch to the cake, but were a problem to get out of the packaging.

I didn’t end up using them, but they look just as pictured. They were well packaged and none were broken in shipping.

Love the colors, I'm an ameture decorator (do a lot of my own cakes for my kids & friends cakes so I know a few tricks about removing sugar products & how not to break them. Never force them off the paper or cardboard. Bend the area around the sugar design (if it's a column do the whole column, do both sides (but one at a time). Then work each horizontal row one by one being careful not to squash the candies as you bend the paper or lift off each piece. CAREFULLY lay loosened each piece on foil or wax paper (I prefer wax paper myself in case of discoloration).* to apply to cake use SAME color icing you used as the surface you are laying them on. Using a decorator's bag of icing with just the tip barely snipped off to make a small slight hole (size of a pencil led). Squeeze a little dollop of icing and lightly press onto your cake. These were so cute and I was so excited to decorate my daughter's cake, but half of them either fell apart instantly or got stuck to the paper. Also, they tasted gross - although to be fair I'm not sure how "edible" they are. They just weren't worth the money. Save your money and draw on some paws with icing gel instead.

Used to decorate my child’s birthday cake. Family loved the design, colors were great, was delicious, kids and adults enjoyed it. Arrived well packaged. The only con was that it was very pricey and since I couldn’t find it elsewhere, I bought it anyways.

These cupcake toppers DO NOT ship well at all. Half the sugar is scratched off the top by the time they get to you. Wanted to do a return but hardly worth me going to the post office. Just a warning if you want to order these.

The product was dry and stale.Kept sealed until opened to put on my granddaughter’s birthday cake and they all but a couple broke as I took them off the paper.I also sampled one and they were not at all tasty.
