Handle is dummy thik
I got this because a guy I'm working with has an original one and it really bites into the logs. While the hardware on this one is nearly identical, the handle is stupid thick. I get not wanting it too thin to keep it from snapping. But they didn't bother to cut it down to the same profile as the original. Now I have to find a way to get it cut down without getting a lathe.

Great tool for the price
My only complaint is the the teeth on the pole part are not sharp enough to grab on to the cut side of a log but it grabs the bark side great. I've moved many large logs with it and it is easy to hang on to and strong but light weight.

The wooden handle is much stronger than my metal handled version which I bent in no time

Very Weak and Poor Durability
Very happy with the cane hook when it first arrived. We were involved with historic flooding and the cane hook we had was swept away. After receiving the hook and working for a month trying to get the mill motor up and running we used the cane hook less than a handful of times. It broke right where the hook meets the handle with ease and light pressure. The wood the handle is made out of is supposed to be hickory but it is made of a lot softer wood. Within seconds of letting the company know of our issues they immediately said they couldn’t help us, but if we had any other questions to let them know. Very unsatisfactory and poor customer service. At the very least they could have asked for more details and had a conversation with the buyer before making a final decision.

Works great!
It works great. I am able to easily handle logs by myself that previously I could barely budge. It is solid and a great value.

Cant say enough for the cant hook.
I like this Timber Tuff tool. One man can maneuver large logs fairly easily. Its very sturdy. I have a log peevy and well. I think the hook is a bit too rounded. limiting the size of the grab. But I'm new to this, and likely don't need to be muscling extra big logs around.

May contain lead! Don’t buy it!
Product was not suitable handle was almost 3” in diameter to awkward to hold. Product label indicated it made include cancer causing materials including lead!
