JESSEM Mast-R-Lift Excel II Included Complete Router Table System

I run a high end cabinet shop and was in the market for a new router table. I finally decided on the Jessem because I liked the phenolic table which is super flat, stiff and slick, and the motor lift looked well made.I also liked the fact that there was no table insert. If you are going to permanently mount your router, why have that lip to deal with?I just set it up yesterday and am very impressed so far. Everything fit perfectly, was well machined and felt of high quality. Only complaint: the pictures on the assembly instructions are fuzzy, so you really have to read the description 5 times to figure some things out (that were actually quite simple if I could have seen the picture.)I have yet to use it, but I can tell it's going to be a giant upgrade from what we had. Will update after a few months.

We received the router table on a Friday and went about assembly. The first problem was that the stand was shipped with absolutely no hardware whatsoever. Of course, it was late on Friday so we headed to the hardware store to buy hardware to put the stand together. Once back home, we had a problem with two of the stand legs being improperly predrilled. We had to get extra long bolts to temporarily make the legs work. We left a message with customer service since it was well after closing. The rest of the assembly went together well and the lift, table and fence all seem well built. Early the following week, my husband received a call from customer service saying that two replacement legs and the hardware will be shipped out immediately. That was early two weeks ago and we are still waiting. I don't mind having to go get hardware except for with the price of this table, I expected it to be included. The leg issue, well, I understand that sort of thing occasionally happens. But so far, I am not impressed with the Jessem customer service. Although the product does seem well built, besides the stand. I would like to give it a higher rating but will wait to see about customer service sending out the parts.UPDATE: We received the missing parts this week and everything was packaged nicely. We had already been using the table but will be glad to be able to put the table together as it was intended originally. We are very happy with this purchase (except for glitch at the beginning). But I am overall definitly happy with this purchase. It is a solid table and a very precise router lift. The fence is also very sturdy and well made.

Great table/lift. Table and lift instructions were easy to follow, but the fence instructions need to be improved - poor quality pictures and complex written guidance. I finally watched a video on the fence and got it together. I had a bad leg too (another buyer had two bad legs - probably an issue Jessem should fix?). The welded nut plates were not installed correctly. I called Jessem customer service, explained the issue, and had a replacement leg in hand two days later. Wow - great response. So even with the bad instructions and the goofed up leg, it still gets five stars due to product awesomeness and friendly effective customer service.

Table top is fine. Support legs are not. Aside from not including all of the needed bolts for assembly, I needed to put casters on the legs for the table to be mobile. DO NOT PUT CASTERS on this product using the bolt holes at the base of the legs. The bottom of the legs pop out. THey are not welded and the interior nut is insufficient to hold a bolt caster. If you are like me and have already put the table together before you move it, you must then take the entire table apart so you can build an under carriage to support the table. While I am happy with the table top, the reason for the one star rating is the abysmal Customer Support. No response was ever received to my queries. A simple addition of a duplicate nut would have solved the problem. Total cost to them plus shipping, under $2.00. I would have gladly paid the bill if I could have only gotten a response. Nada. This should have been an easy product to assemble and put to work. It has been a nightmare.

Best investment in the shop. Got it with all the bells and whistles porter cable router, feather board, hold downs, on off switch, and a must the router lift kit. Table it self very easy to put together and very sturdy glad I went with Jessem if your serious about routing this is a serious machine

My friends say there’s like no other...takes a bit to set up, but well worth it

Some quality issues, but the seller has been responsive. Overall an amazing table.
