I've been using the YoLink LoRa 1/4 Wireless Range Smart Motion Sensors for about a month now, and I'm really impressed with them. I simply plugged in the hub, downloaded the app, and followed the instructions. The sensors were up and running in minutes.I use the sensors to trigger a variety of actions in my home. For example, I have them set up to turn on the lights when I come home, and to turn off the alarm when I leave. I also use them to trigger automations in my smart home, such as turning on the sprinklers when I leave for work, or turning on the music when I come home.Overall, I'm really happy with the YoLink LoRa 1/4 Wireless Range Smart Motion Sensors. Works as advertised
These motion detectors work very good. They certainly detect any human motion and there are 3 different modes you can set up for notification. I get notification to my phone and with email immediately upon motion detection. Easy to set up, requires you to download an app to your phone but is free and no subscription fees or other fees. Using in a vacation home which is not occupied most of the time. When I am there, i change the mode and get a ding on my phone for each motion detection but no email. When I depart, reset to get the app notification and the email.

Honesty Review from Houston TX
Houston Jun/2025.I’ve been using this small motion sensor for a while now, and it’s been working pretty well. The sensor itself isn’t very far-reaching, so the movement needs to be within 3-4 feet. If it’s more than that, it won’t alert you. But the best part is that it’s super easy to move the sensor around because of the magnetic behind the unit. That solves the problem of needing to be within 3-5 feet. So, to answer your question, yes, the sensor is working as expected. The installation is super easy, I haven’t had any issues so far, and the batteries are still good.I’ll update this review if something comes up.

Very easy to set up alarm system
This Yolink system makes it really fast and easy to set up motion detection (and other types of detection) in your house. It worked right out of the box and installed in minutes. It does use "scenes" you can program for what happens when you wake up, leave the house, are home, etc. Don't be confused by the word, "scene". It just means a program for different situations. Under the Smart tab on the bottom, you can program the Scene. Then under normal use tap the Heart or favorites button on the bottom left, it shows you your Scenes and you can choose one to use for the current situation. No subscription is needed. The motion sensing seems pretty good.Addendum: some confusion arrived under settings>alarm strategies -- if you're only have motion sensors and want to just turn the system on and off, you would use the default strategy, select whatever type of notifications you want under Default ,, such as email, push notification, or text. Then you will have an option to select alarm> activate alarm vs alarm > silence alarm. For the at home or OFF scene you use the silence alarm and for the ON or away from home scene you use activate.

Awesome! Perfect product.
I got these because our mailbox got broken into. I have a locking bigger package box and so I was excited when I saw these sensors. My mailbox is across the street from my house so I was REALLY happy to see that I could use these a good distance from my house. My mailbox is a good 100 feet from my front door. I attached the sensor inside directly on the back of the mailbox wall so it's facing the deposit slots. It is magnetic and holds on tight! The set up was so easy a child could do it. Mostly walks you through each step. The app seems to be really great except for a few things I'm unclear on and there isn't much in the help section. I don't think I will need the feature but I would like to know what it is. I will try to look into it to see what exactly trigger action is. Most of app is understandable and easy to navigate. I also put a sensor in my step van and it's really giving me a slice of peace in my mind having these sensors. I know that people may still break in but at least I have a better chance at interrupting them or scaring them off before they take anything! The motion detection alerts are about instant. When it detects, it takes about one second for the app to alert me on the phone via text. There are 3 different options depending on how you want to be notifiyed. I do wish I could set different (tones) alerts to each device but my phone does not allow that I guess. I was so thrilled that this product was so well priced! Next day delivery! When it came I was also impressed with the actual product as well. I recommend this to anyone that has issues like mine.
