Q: What size amp should i use if i buy 4 of these?

U can use a 400 what's. With low frequency

Q: do you need a wiring harness or any connector?

Mine were direct replacements, the head unit i had bought 3 weeks earlier came with a new conversion harness, I did have to change the connectors on the speaker wires.

Q: do these have to be broken in? My stock speaker is louder than them

I doubt they need much breaking in. I wouldn't play them too hard maybe at first but these are a budget speaker at best, don't think you're going to get real great performance out of them. Your stock speakers probably are louder at the same volume on the radio due to better mid range sensitivity ...most regular oem systems have pretty ho-hum speakers, but do produce decent volume for mid-range sounds.
