Plug and play
Everything works as described, the app isn't as bad as people make it seem. My only issue and why this is getting 4 out of 5 is that the effects are really bad. The strobe isn't a strobe its a half a flash you know the old school security lights that flash in like early 2000s cars it like that but looks like your whole light set is sorting out. If I get a chance I will come back with a video to this post. But for solid colors, this is a solid win. Also, I lost my remote to mine the Bluetooth has yet to fail me.

Defective out of the box.
Control box produced excessive heat, and was blowing fuses right out of the box. Would not recommend this for any vehicle.
