Quality is lacking like a lot compared to the original cord, but don’t count this cord out it’s a great fit is obviously easier to use and most definitely great value for money mine is great at keeping the Wii U on great power source as well. Now Amazon I don’t know why you want me to talk about the charging ability it’s not a charger.

It works
I’m so glad I found this product. I recently took out my Wii U from where it was stored and it didn’t want to turn on. I had changed the battery and it didn’t do anything so I kept reading online on what else to do and the charger was my last option. The problem was the charger and it works fine right now.

It Works Well But I Still Miss My Nintendo Power Supply..
Literally feels like it's a charger meant for a kid's toy I would have had as a child but it so far provides the power my WiiU needs; no over heating or anything yet but it's only been about a week since I've received it..I tend to play for several hours at a time as a streamer so getting my WiiU back in action with this has been fine so far so I'm content with it for now. It's just weirdly off-putting how lightweight and thin it feels..
