I love these books. The artwork is great - I love seeing guys barefoot and always like it when a photographer or artist draws/paints barefoot guys. I'm a bit outside the age range intended for these books, but I still found them a great read. I'd highly recommend them for high school and college gay guys - I wish there were books like this out there in the 90s when I was in high school and college myself. I could have used them. The way Mioki draws is very sensual and although the pictures are comic book style, most of them could easily make for great frame'able pictures that would look great on the wall. Looking forward to reading more of Mioki's work.

This book is a fun book to have around for a lite funny read. The book has good art, I read it on a rainy afternoon with easylistening music and a glass of wine. I was glad I had bought this book and I have loaned it to several friends who have said they liked too.

This is just porn. There is nothing wrong with porn. Porn is great. However I feel like this advertises itself as great art or stories or something more like a classic gay graphic novel. It is not. It is just porn.So if you want some porn in very stereotypical/unrealistic porn-y cliches, this is great.If you are expecting something of substance with story, resonance, or character development, this is a waste of time.Perhaps I am a victim of my own ignorance of Mioki, but with an entire internet of porn of any variety you could possibly desire, I found this quite boring and honestly fairly regressive in its portrayal of gay existence.
