Simple power readout, Easy to install.
I wanted a live readout on my electrical panel for my solar install. I found this while searching among rectangular ones and such. Could it be real? I only had to drill out a 22mm round hole? No way! One drill and a stepper bit and I had this beautiful thing installed into the face of my panel even before the surrounding metal cooled down. A small gripe was the lack of details to install it, but X1 and X2 for the voltage and the CT for amps. I used a 14 gauge standard SAE quick connector cable for the voltage leads to an unused breaker. The CT was installed with my 1/0 feeder cable and while it's quick connector is nice, it could be a tad longer though. With both of the sampling leads quick disconnecting types, I can remove my panel front without worry about holding it while working inside the box.Now I can witness the live readout of what's really going on in my solar grid and backup panels. It is so simple and didn't hurt my budget at all. I only had to connect two wires. Do note that this will not work on a 200A main service panel nor would the CT fit with 4/0 cabling. But for a sub panel or a feeder below 100A this works perfectly. The accuracy is decent and within a volt and amperage is roughly the same. I use these as a quick visual of the system status.

Nice volt and amp meter
Minor nit: For circuits that draw less than about 1/2 an Amp, the Amps display may read zero. To fix that, I wrapped the load wire around the toroid coil 10 times (instead of just passing through once) which makes it display 10x the Amps. So, half an Amp displays as 5 Amps. This makes it more accurate for low 100 ma or so draws. Just divide the displayed Amps by 10 (mentally move the decimal to the left one position). So, for 500 ma, it'll read 5.0Other than that it works great and is acceptably accurate according to other meters I have.

Not too bright but very visible
Working so far well not using the amp reading just using it as a voltmeter we have unstable power where I live so I want to monitor the incoming voltage we go up and down plus or minus about 2%, sometimes more

Biomedical Application
I'm a Consultant Biomedical Electronics Engineer supporting hospital equipment throughout the Caribbean and these cheap, simple LED Indicators are doing a lot for us. I've initiated a program retrofitting all the large hospital 3-phase Autoclaves (sterilizers) I support with these. Basically, these machines are fitted on the panel with three neon or LED pilot lights across each phase (idiot lights, they give no real info, unless a phase leg has dropped). A big and primary troubleshooting step on these machines is to measure the voltage and current at each phase (delta). For instance, a lower than normal current indication on a phase leg immediately signals a heater failure (hell, we can actually determine how many heaters have failed and their system location). This is usually done when we get out there, open up the panel and get in there with a clamp AC ammeter. Now, the hospital on a service call, can not only tell us the problem they're experiencing, but giving us over the phone the Boiler, Jacket and Chamber pressure readings, plus the Voltage and Current Readings on each phase, we have a very good understanding of what we're dealing with on site and can dispatch a tech with the appropriate tools and spares to effect a repair. In many cases, we can better instruct their maintenance personnel on immediate action to be taken and may even suggest temporary work-arounds or shut-down protocols. I really like these indicators.

Reading 2x the actual current. How do I get one that works properly??????
Really nice unit but reads 2x the actual current.I’d like it replaced with a correctly operating unit.

Low current not displayed
This is a very good meter. The voltage is spot on. However I returned two of them before I found out why I couldn't get a current reading. I used a 75 watt light bulb for a test load. The reading should have been 0.6 amps but was zero. A reviewer stated that if you looped the wire through the coil a second time it would read double the current. When I tried it, sure enough it read 1.2 amps. I increased the load by adding a 60 watt light bulb and ran the wire through the coil as it should be. The meter now correctly read 1.1 amps. So the takeaway for me is that the current spec should be 1-100 amps instead of 0-100 amps. I bought the model that displayed voltage, current, and frequency and it read correctly read 0.6 amps with the 75 watt load.

System monitoring
Just installed and they seem to work fine. Voltages are accurate as tested against my fluke multi meter. Good value.Bought these units to monitor my off grid system. Using 2 voltage/amp meters to check the outputs of the 120/240 V inverter.

Not accurate at all
Voltage measurement ok but the Amp reading is more than double compared with the real value.
