Very affordable mat for the price. Holds the entire puzzle. The felt could be better quality but you get what you pay for.

I bought a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and had to be move it shortly after it was complete and of course it came apart. I don't plan to glue puzzles together, but I would like to enjoy them for a few days before boxing the pieces back up. I set out to find something and this roll-up puzzle mat fit the bill. The felt is black and is marked for various sized puzzles. I found it useful that I can see where the corners of my puzzle and outside pieces should go. There is a plastic piece that adjusts to fit the length or width of your puzzle and holds the felt when rolled up. Note that the felt is wrinkled when first opened. I just used my hands to stretch it flat and though it's not totally flat, the puzzle came together and was flat.

I bought this mat because I love doing puzzles but I also live with two cats who love to play with everything. This mat rolled up and I could secure it no problem. No puzzles pieces fell out when i moved it, obviously you have to make sure that you put the velcro bands close enough to the edge to keep the puzzle pieces in. The tube is easy to make bigger or smaller, it is a little strange that you can make it bigger than you need, but it is not a problem. The only complaint I have is that the felt is very thick and it is not easy to move puzzle pieces around on it. Also, because the mat comes folded up inside of the tube, it does not lay flat on the table meaning that the puzzle is not flat, I hope as I continue to use this the felt will relax and lay flat. Overall, definitely worth the money for what I needed, the puzzle stayed together when rolled up and I could pick right back up where I left off and the cats could not play with the pieces.

The mat is made of a felt-like material, not rubber, and it does arrive heavily creased. However, once I ironed it out, it turned out to be really nice! It comes with just the mat and an extendable tube for rolling up your puzzle. I haven’t tested the rolling feature yet since I haven’t completed a puzzle on it, but I’ll update my review and rating once I do.As a basic mat at this price point, it’s effective and gets the job done. It’s a great starter mat. Personally, I use small bins from the dollar store for sorting puzzle pieces, which I prefer over the rubber sorting trays that come with some other mats.A word of caution about ironing the mat: make sure you place it on a heat-safe surface, cover it with a cloth (like a t-shirt), and then press the iron down section by section for about a minute at a time. Do not use the iron directly on the mat—it will melt the felt. Running the iron over the mat won’t remove the creases instantly, so patience is key. I’ve left the iron on sections for 2–3 minutes (with a cotton cloth in between), and nothing burned. The mat can handle it as long as you use a proper barrier.Overall, this mat is simple yet effective, and for the price, I’m satisfied with it so far! I’ll revisit my review once I’ve had the chance to use it fully.

I recently purchased this puzzle mat for less than $7 with my 1000-piece Grey’s Anatomy puzzle! The mat is made of a soft but durable material, which makes it perfect for keeping the puzzle pieces in place while I work on it. I ended up getting this puzzle mat because my puzzle table wouldn’t come in time, but best decision ever ! Overall, this budget-friendly puzzle mat has significantly enhanced my puzzle-building experience, and I highly recommend it to fellow puzzle enthusiasts.

The felt mat was extremely wrinkled. I was able to iron it out but it was a terrible material to use for a puzzle. I started assembling on the mat and if I even moved the felt mat at all it broke apart the pieces I already put together and when I try to roll it the puzzle comes apart. It was terrible to use and very difficult to put a puzzle together on it. I ended up not keeping it. Wax paper does a way better job.

My brother does puzzles & had one of these mats which I definately needed so I got one & would highly recommended to others.It's just so very convenient when working on a puzzle. Rolls up nicely & when enrolled, all of the pieces stay intact

Works perfectly for my classroom needs.
