Second time ordering this product! Nothing wrong with first set we just started to plant more. The drainage is great with these! Never have to worry about water being held in for to long and causing damage to roots. And they are also super light which helps as well. And when done you can clean them off, fold them and put them away. Such a space saver!

Does its job prunes the roots, very hard to over water,but no noticeable difference in growth rate over plastic pots, and is next to impossible to transplant by yourself the root ball just doesn't want to let go.. I need help from another person to pull the pot off of the rootball as I held the plant upside down really have to squeeze and pry on the pot to let the rootball go... to rough and scary for me but the never root bound factor is awesome so im gonna use plastic pots to raise my plants then a fabric pot to finish smart pots are really pricey so I'm trying the 10 gal root pots right now half the price of smart pots...hope this helps

Great as usual. Always seems like the pots smaller than advertised (gallon wise), but you have to remember this is counting to the rim. Always buy 10-20% larger than you want to yield a TRUE gallon of soil use. Example, buying a 5 gallon that measures say, 10" x 10", you may only fill to the 8 inch mark. Thus making it 4.5~ gallons. Get a 6 or 7 gallon. You get a substantial amount of more growing room YET it will only take up 2 more inches in width (height in irrelevant unless your grow tent limits you).

I am less than impressed with these. The two gallon containers are fairly shallow, it wasn't difficult to transplant into them, but they have to be packed tight to prevent any kind of sagging or distorting. No handles on the pots and having no rigidity means you have to be careful about how you pick them up to move them.Biggest problem I have is that they breath too much. I decided to do a side by side with a standard plastic 2 gallon pot and a pair of clones (same genetics, cut at the same time, both with an equal amounts of growth) and I'm seeing the Smart Pot one lagging behind because it uses a lot more water, is more prone to sagging from drying out, and nutrients flush out quicker because it needs all the extra water. If I had mixed soil that holds extra moisture (more peat moss and vermiculite) it might be doing better, but I'm not optimistic about that.I can get standard plastic pots for free at local garden centers and hardware stores, these things cost WAY too much for the supposed "benefits" of them. Maybe the huge sizes are better (20+ gallons) but at that point I'd just plant directly into the ground. Can't send them back because they're already in use, but I certainly won't be buying any more. =\

Best investment for my garden. I use these for all of my plants and all of then have grown ×10 healthier root system and stronger branches/stems. The soil does dry quicker so you can pump in all those nutrients more often. It gives the plant more oxygen so overall you're giving the plant alot more room to improve. Havent had any issues reusing these pot. AMAZING PRODUCT.

I tried these for the first time this year and they worked fantastically. I wish I would of bought more. My plants did better in these pots than the hard plastic ones. Not to mention at the end of the season, I rinse these and they can go lay flat in my garage or shed. They are not big and bulky to store the way hard plastic pots are. I recommend people,to consider these for next seasons gardening needs!
