Installed in about 1/2 hour easy to do strong rivet should hold better than factory great product.

Worked as promised. Easy to install.

It fit great. Bought a snap rivet kit at home depot work good.

The item itself is perfect but the pin that came with it has no way to hold it in. I had to go to the hardware store to get the correct one

A high wind took a toll on our awning! This was all we needed to repair. So happy after many experienced total loss of their awnings and other damaged. Great price and easy repair for us! Worked perfectly. We are back on the road with shade!

Hubby had to watch a youtube video made by a lady which he said was awesome and really helped in him replacing the awning rafter rivet. He said it was easy to install after watching her video, but would be lost without watching it. The part itself is very sturdy and feels better than the OEM part that broke off which apparently is quite common in my research. I gave it 4 stars for price since other places are a little cheaper than Amazon, but I went with Amazon due to its awesome return policy in case it didn't fit.

Well made and a great replace ment. Just a thought but including a one time use punch ( basically a cheap one ) would have been nice but for me I have a set. Or sell one separately with a link to buy it. In any case works great and not a hard install by any means.

The product took some time to receive but when it did finally arrive it fit my 1999 dometic 8500 model awning rafter bar perfectly
