Effective anti-inflammatory that's not toxic like prescription veterinary drugs
I've been using this with my arthritic dogs since 2010 and I swear by it.Two of my dogs had arthritis and also had elevated liver enzymes so they couldn't take mainstream (toxic) veterinary drugs. Duralactin is more gentle and my dogs think they're getting a treat. There was no miracle turn-around in their behavior and of course the arthritis persists, but I firmly believe Duralactin has helped them stay more mobile and comfortable than otherwise. My current dog gets Duralactin in the morning and MaxxiFlex in the evening, another gentle product that combines glucosamine with turmeric as an anti-inflammatory. I also use tramadol to control pain,As a side note, I tried one dog on Rimadyl and it had serious medical side effects. I won't go that route again when Duralactin, MaxxiFlex, and tramadol do the job so effectively.

From My Research, the Chew with Highest Amount of Glucosamine - Keeps 13-year Old Shepherd Moving
Our 13-year old German Shepherd/Black Lab mix has been eating a couple of these chews every day for the past year, and she still gets around without apparent joint pain, even at her age. The chews are pricey compared to some others, but well worth it since they have the most glucosamine of any chew I could research.

His hips are starting to become a bit of a challenge and he has bad bursitis in his left shoulder area from playing soccer ...
We had to start getting this for our ten year old German Shepard. His hips are starting to become a bit of a challenge and he has bad bursitis in his left shoulder area from playing soccer so much. Yes, soccer... The vet suggested these exact chews. We had purchased them at the vet the first time, but now (and you see it quickly), our dog is feeling a lot better and seems to have better movement when wanting to play. He is also severely allergic to everything. He should be in a bubble! These chews have not affected his skin. He takes it like a champ. We tell him it's his treat. He believes it.

It Works
The Duralactin Triple Strength was recommended by my vet for the arthritis my 12+ senior dog has. It has improved his walking and although we take shorter/slower walks now we can take more of them and he seems to do so without the pain. He also enjoys the taste of it. The price was much more at the vets so purchasing it here was a bargain.

Amazing product for lameness
My 5 y/o olde english bulldogge was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia. She was having difficulty with standing and was lame when walking. We had been using Rimadyl with some inprovements but the Duralactin was a game changer (in less than a week). She is able to walk without limping and her mobility has improved when getting up from the floor. It's only been 2 weeks of use, hoping she continues to benefit from this supplement.

Awesome!
My dog had double knee surgery at the beginning of the year, and one knee has since been super temperamental. Any little thing would have her limping, and the vet was no help. She was already on welactin, dasuquin with msm and monthly adequan injections. Adding one chew a day has greatly improved her mobility! She has been on it for over a month and there hasn't been any mystery limping since the second day. No joke, this stuff seems to be worth the money. I wish it was a subscribe and save item!

A Working Dog's Joint Relief
My service dog's vet recommended this when he had hurt his knee. It worked well as a pain reliever and anti inflamitory. He liked the taste, the chew went down quickly and my dog asked for another immediately. I'm not sure how well it will work long term since it was only needed for this short term sprain (?) for less than a few days. If he needs it for joint health as he ages, I will be using Durlalactin as his first treatment.

Our Doberman loves these,
This supplement was one I had to find after our vet told us our Doberman needed to be on Duralactin plus glucosamine. The vet sent home the regular Duralactin after his leg surgery, and I expected all would be well. My standard poodles had loved the vanilla flavor, and I was astonished to see the Doberman refuse to eat those. REFUSE! As in, not whole, not disguised in cheese or peanut butter, or even crushed and sprinkled over food. Ever seen a Doberman refuse to eat his dinner? Neither had I, until vanilla Duralactin.I went to Amazon, and started searching. Thank goodness for Triple Soft Chews. He thinks he’s getting a treat every time he gets one, and this has both supplements, so it’s easier. Our dachshund will eat the leftovers, and everyone is happy.
