Arrived without lids. Had to arrange replacement, which arrived OK BUT now have to arrange return of the originals which came in a HUGE box, and this is a real PAIN IN THE ARSE

I was initially a little sceptical having read another review, which included photos, showing and stating that the lids aren’t as tall as shown and that these won’t hold LPs. However, having looked closely I came to the conclusion that they had bought the 35 Litre and not the 35 Litre XL. Glad I went ahead and made my order, as my assumption was correct. The 35 Litre XL are perfect for 12 inch LPs, as my attached photos show. These work perfectly with the 9 Litre XL ones I’ve bought for our 7 inch singles. These are very robust (I’ve jumped up and down on them a few times with the lid on). Great for storing away, keeping the items dust free and dry. Currently re-organising our loft, so will be buying lots more in other sizes. Being able to instantly see what each tub contains will save me so much time not having to rummage through cardboard boxes.

I ordered this “bundle” of 3 Really Useful Boxes on value-for-money grounds. We have a lot of these boxes; they are strong, stackable and come in a multitude of sizes. Unfortunately, they are also fragile if inadequately packaged or badly handled in transit. This was one of those occasions: one box arrived with a broken lid. Thankfully, Katy-Anne in Amazon Customer Services quickly solved my problem by organising a refund that enabled me to order a replacement. These boxes are certainly fit for purpose, if they arrive in one piece!

I ordered the 'bonus pack' comprising 2 x 84 + 1 x 64 Litre Storage Boxes. Unfortunately the packing for shipping has caused problems. The three boxes were strapped together, with the 3 lids and the smaller 64l box inside one of the bigger 84l ones, then this combo top-to-top with the other empty 84l one. The whole was then in a snug-fitting cardboard box with no further packing material. One of the larger boxes arrived with cracks in the side and with a piece of one of the external ribs broken off and loose in the box. Of course I would be entitled to return this for replacement, but starting to go into the returns process it appeared as though I would have to return all three in the original packing. This would deprive me of two good boxes against the hope that another delivery (likely to be packed and handled in exactly the same way) would arrive any better with all three intact. So as I need boxes now I decided not to return them and I shall reinforce the damaged one myself. Very annoying, but I see from reviews this is not the first complaint of them arriving broken, and in truth I had placed the order with my fingers crossed as I need the boxes and there appears nowhere to buy them locally anymore. I have several very similar boxes which were bought locally in the past and I was hoping to match them. Boxes themselves are fine and would get 4 or 5 stars if they had arrived intact. Whether I would have had better luck buying direct from the manufacturer is to be guessed!

Love these boxes, bought several times in various sizes. The 64 and 84l slide straight in to shelves in garage, perfect size.They are defo waterproof despite leaking garage roof.HOWEVER I’ve given 4 stars only because the packing of these boxes is poor. One of the clips was completely smashed when arrived so cannot “lock” the box properly. Packing needs an extra layer on corners and handles please, one cardboard box clearly not enough.
