Necessary child safety equipment
When I first attempted to put the bumper on my coffee table (made of stone and metal), I couldn't stretch the bumper far enough and was very disappointed. When my husband came home, he helped and we got a nice, snug fit that no child could pull off! The extra pads for the corners are perfect! I know some of the other reviewers complained about a plasticy smell, so I was planning on airing it in the sun, but mine doesn't have that issue at all! Yes, I wish the color was black to better match the table and living room, but it's not like it's bright orange. My husband said, "Well, that was worth the money in preventing stitches!" If your table is in the upper range of the fitting measurement (like ours), this should work great, but you'll need two people to put it on!

Works perfect!
My parents have a large square coffee table with edges that arnt smooth (like they have a design under the edge of the table) so a traditional stick on pad wouldnt work. Im so glad i found this because my four year old almost had a run in with the corner and his forehead (my mom caught him by his shirt right before he hit) which scared me to death. I purchased this immediately and am very pleased. It was very easy to put on. The entire piece is padded and there are extra little pads that you stick inside over the corners for extra protection. It stays on wonderfully (very pleased that my one year old hasent been able to remove it) I feel so much better knowing that if a head meets the corner of the table it would probably just result in a little bump instead of something much more serious.

Ugly, but works
As others reviewers have said, this thing is U-G-L-Y. It's an off-puttng grey/beige color that does not "blend with any decor" like the box mentions. It also has a plastic-y smell that lasted forever....That being said, it is easy to put on/remove. The padding is thick and it fits very snugly. It almost didn't fit my coffee table, which I think is a regular size rectangular coffee table, so make sure to measure the perimeter before ordering. It comes with 4 corner pads to add in for extra corner protection. Since it fits so tight, I found these a little hard to stick in. But I guess it is better than being too loose. And, it works well! So if you're after function and not fashion, this would be a great bumper for you!

My Kid's Noggin Is Bruise-Free!
I have a new walker, and this ugly thing absolutely prevented her soft little head from all manner of dings and divots. It really is ugly as sin, and smells kind of like new vinyl sheet protectors for the first few days out of the box. That's a plus for me though - reminds me of high school. The elastic is strong, so I was able to really pull the bejesus out of it to make it fit on my very long coffee table. Then when I put my foot through the coffee table and replaced it with a smaller table, the elastic rebounded nicely.Seriously though, it's ugly. But you know what's pretty? My 11 month old kids perfectly round head.

best corner safety out there
My lil ones have always been able to remove any type of adhesive corner cushion and this is a great alternative. The added corner cushions that go underneath make it great. Also we have it on our tv stand which has drawers and cabinets on front and this comes down just far enough to also baby proof these doors and the top drawer but not far enough that adults cannot easily push it up and open. Its worked great and held up great over the years. I just wish they made and extra small for small end tables. Also sizing was true for us

Terrible
Does not work at all for my 104" table, despite what the listing says, it is way too big and falls off. As others have said, it is also extremely ugly. The material is a horrible plasticky texture, not the fabric like texture it appears in the picture. The idea of covering both the top and bottom edges was good, but for me it was completely unusable and even had it fit, it is so much uglier than it needs to be. The prince lionheart one is so much better and cheaper too.

Works
After everyone was going on and on about how ugly it is, I was prepared for the worst, so it actually wasn't quite as bad as I was expecting! We don't bother taking it off for company or anything like that. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because I wish the corner pads were shaped like a corner instead of a flat square pad that you have to position over the corner and adjust when it shifts. Our coffee table is 28" x 42" and it fits well. It would fit if the table were a drop bigger also.

doesn't fit a 90 inch table and UGLY, I mean really UGLY
I bought this for my end table where I really didn't want to stick anything on. I was quite disappointed when I opened it because it's really ugly. I mean it looks like a pair of hand-me-down training pants from the 1970s. But, anything for baby, right? So, we go to put it on in spite of it's ugliness and guess what- there is no way this is fitting my end table or any end table less than a 100 inches. My table is 20x24, so a little small at 88 inches, but I have at least a foot of loose fabric hanging behind my end table and that's with no stretching. So, on a 100 inch table it might fit, but it will be so loose that any baby could pull it off, even without trying, just doing normal baby pulling up and such. Which brings me to the other problem- what baby is going to leave this thing on? Just buy the Prince Lionheart Table Edge Guard - it's really nicely padded, looks really clean since it's cut to fit and sticks on really well. I ordered that after this was such a failure, tested it out, rated it 5 stars and now I'm returning this thing. It was half again as much money, none of the usefulness and 10x the ugly. Maybe buy it for the sister in law you hate when her baby comes due? ;)I did give it two stars since the padding seemed good enough for a table it would fit on. And maybe there's someone out there with a training pants fetish, who knows?

Really good product
We have a toddler grandson and another grandchild expected this summer. I always worry when the little one is around our kidney-shaped glass coffee table. Corner pads wouldn't work. This product is great. I read other reviews before purchasing. The person who advised to be careful to measure the diameter carefully was quite right. Our table measured 140 inches - the upper limits of size small and I was tempted to get the size medium. Would have been a mistake. The size small is a perfect fit.
