A very "smart" light which perfectly complements your smart home setup! This is the first LED floor lamp which does 2 things right at the same time. First, it can be turn off and back on via the power mains. Second, it remembers the previous setting! I'm very impressed, as I've been searching for such capabilities in an LED lamp for the past 3 years. Not sure why no manufacturers of desk lamp enabled these smart home friendly features. Hence, I have given this 5 stars! Simply no competition even right now, this is the best.. for a smart home!Pros:- Truly smart plug compatible, *remembers last setting + can be turns on/off via mains- Peak brightness of 1800 lumens, versus average 1000 lumens max to competitors- Choice of 5 brightness settings at 10w max, so you can control electricity usage- 3 colour modes (daylight, warm light & cool light)#- Great value at about £32-33, to similar products at £40 (though no one else had such unique features*- Gradually brightens up when turned on, means it does not blind you, especially in the dark.- Easier to setup as compared to the one I had for about 1-2 years. Wires are already inside, just screw it in.- Feels very well made, high quality product.Improvements:- A remote would be useful to control brightness and colour modes.- Have up to 10 brightness levels and colour modes each.Overall, if you have a smart home setup with smart plug controlling pre-existing dumb lights and if wish to brighten up your living area or bedroom. This is a no brainer purchase! Buy it!

I had been reviewing and looking at floor lamps for a while, I ordered this along with a Smart Plug Meross WiFi plug to go together.I have several criteria that need to be met, the floor space for the base of this unit is in a corner of the room beside my sofa. The base for this unit is round and fits perfectly in the corner, it feels stable with the base.I had been looking for a lamp I can use for reading or on my laptop with adjustable colour and brightness. This lamp took about 3 minutes to assemble, which was just screwing the sections together, this was really easy. The long goose neck is useful and can be angled easily.The lamp on full is very bright, with the options of different colours, from very bright white to daylight, touch sensitive, dimmable and with a hour timer which is a bonus.I was also looking to expand my smart home with Alexa, this took about 2 minutes to set up and works well with Alexa.Worth the 5 stars, very happy with this product and would recommend, I feel it is good value for money.

Very pleased with it so far. Good sturdy base and fully flexible neck. The colour range is properly warm through medium, to cool. The difference in light levels are noticable and the brightest covers the room well. It has a lot of good features for a modest amount of money.I didn't buy it to use as a reading lamp, but to supplement and extend the daylight as Autumn and Winter approaches as I hate it when it is so dim, so early and for so long. So I am angling the neck so that the light (on the coolest, brightest setting) covers the whole room.Have not tested it in gloomy light conditions yet, but have tested it in the dark and the colour variation and light coverage is pretty impressive. For anyone having trouble with the screws - I nearly damaged the thread, so you have to do it very gently and carefully, then it's fine.I'm confident it will do the job I want it to do, so I have immediately ordered another one to go in the opposite corner as well as ordering a daylight/cool bulb for my ceiling light. If I find it is a little too cool, I can always adjust the brightness and colours with one or both of the lamps.Perhaps the description of the lamp could also mention my use as there are many people who dread the Winter gloom.

The first product I received from Gladle had some problems as I assembled it "out of the box". This lamp has a stem in several sections which must be screwed together by the purchaser to assemble the product. There were no assembly instructions in the package. The internal threads on the lamp stem tubes were difficult to assemble and a after little use the centre joint in the stem developed some play.Gladle responded extremely quickly and positively to this issue, and shipped a replacement product straight away. This one did have assembly instructions and went together without problems. I have updated this review to reflect this response. The lamp looks great and works very well, with intuitive controls and excellent ranges for both brightness and colour temperature. It has a good base which provides stability, even on a thickish carpet, and still allows easy movement of the lamp. The flexible gooseneck part of the stem is also very effective, it's easy to move and stays where it is put!I would highlight the really excellent support Gladle provided here. They are obviously proud of their product and moved very quickly indeed to completely remedy the initial problems that I had. I would certainly buy again from them, it's a treat to find a supplier who is prrepared to completely stand behind their product, and who provides such good customer support.

Arrived quickly and really easy to assemble. The brightness is great, as well as the fact that you can vary it as you like. What is really important is that the switch-on button is reachable if you use it as a bedside light. Other models have it on top of the lamp. The tube seems a bit wobbly but I've only had it for a week and seems to be working ok for now. Overall happy with the purchase.
