CNC Spoilboard Surfacing Router bit Planer for Slab Flattening and Planing (1/4” S, 1” D, 1/4” H)

I use it to trim dowel pins flush. Works great

pretty good bit, did what it was suppose to do and didn't ho dull. Can't complain

I am new to CNC woodworking and have a new wasteboard to surface. This cutter worked excellently. I will definitely order more when I wear this one out.

I thought I remembered ordering 1-1/4” wide cut but this one is 1” wide. Oh well. Just took me 25% longer! Did what it’s supposed to. Did 3 passes total over this 24”x73” slab of redwood. Left a rather lousy surface but an hour of sanding with the orbital took that out.

Packaging could have been better, but it arrived intact. The blue section had a few nicks and scuffs, but the blades were clean and looks smooth. Will update after use. Hoping for safe and proper functioning.

I used it to remove a hump in the sub flooring which is ¾ T&G underlayment. It cut well for this small job. Not sure how it would last on something bigger. For bigger jobs I would recommend using a ½ “ shaft bit.

I cut 16 feet of aspen at 1/8th inch depth with a single pass. The bit became dull and caused a couple of splits before I was done. It probably wouldn't last three feet in oak.
