Excellent gripping quality, one-handed-operation, and well built...
I purchased these clamps to assist me in building a handicap ramp, and they worked great holding wooden planks together while I drilled holes in the planks to secure them. They offer a quick, one handed, operation which as great. They were strong enough to hold a 1x6x12 foot handrail in place, while it was being attached. I couldn't have done the project without these awesome clamps.
