My opthalmologist recommended another similar product. Reviewed other products; Ultra Lutein suited my needs more than other products. With all of the eye irritants out there, technology items we use all day every day this is the best way I can think of to help protect our precious eyesight. The Ultra Lutein has more Lutein and Zeaxanthin and less "fillers" in it. Product is GREAT; As advertised. Noticed improvement after the first week to week and a half. I've been taking the small easy to swallow "soft gels" for approximately 3 years. Amazon is ABSOLUTELY the best place to purchase this product for price and availability. Ultra Lutein is a little more expensive; however the value of the ingredients and the increased strength over the competitor brands warrants the price.

I have macular degeneration and have been using this product for 20 years or more and my macular degeneration has remained stable. I trust this product because Natures Plus sends their products to an independent lab so you know exactly what you are getting

I've been taking Natures Plus' Ultra Lutein Max. Strength softgels for at least a year - it is the best eye supplement on the market. I've noticed the whites of my eyes are whiter and my eye color has brightened. I love this product!

My mother had gone completely blind with dry macular degeneration. I began giving her this Ultra Lutein Plus along with Billberry Extract capsules, one of each, twice a day. My mom, just shy of 95 years old, can now read without her glasses....good stuff!

Over the months I've used this product there is some improvement in my vision...The next few months will tell whether I will continue this product or not...UPDATE...4/18/2017...My Ophthalmologist suggested this product to support my Cataract surgery 2 years ago...since then and with the Lutein my eyes continue to improve to the point...I rarely have to use my glasses...

These are expensive but since taking them my eye condition has not deteriorated which is the best I can hope for. Not expensive considering my eyesight is being cared for.

I believe this supplement has helped in reducing the speed of deterioration in my eye condition. Although there has not been any great research done , my consultants view is that as long as I can afford this then I should continue to use it
