I was already using a Norton product which came pre-installed in my PC. And I had used Kaspersky and QuickHeal also. As I am from a Computer background, I found Norton 360 Standard easy to operate (it differs individually). It has different modes like Performance, Security, Internet Security etc. which are all helpful while we are continuously working online. Overall, this is a value for money product.

These days you really need to be protected and that's the reason I trust Norton a lot as It is one of the oldest anti-virus products available in the market.Pros:1. Eady to install2. Wide protection coverage3. The Safe browsing feature is really awesome for Realtime protection from threats and attacks4. Only after using this product, I came to know that the sites I used to use earlier for some utilities are not safe5. If you have discontinued the machine in which this anti-virus was installed before then installing the same in a new PC/Laptop is very easy through the transfer of license feature from your Norton's account6 Easy to register the product on Norton's website by creating "MY Norton" Account.7. Nice Password Locker feature.8.This purchase in Amazon was cheaper than the price shown on Norton's website.Cons:1. Especially with google chrome if you have multiple google accounts then the safe search browser extension only gets attached to a single google account only.2. I have also seen in the safe search home page there are some prebuilt websites shortcuts/widgets which cannot be removed but again they do not interfere much with your usage3. Can make your system slow if you have installed this on an old PC or Laptop .

Security is good but I just wanted a good VPN too that's why I bought it but they are saying VPN service is not available in India.

Purchased Norton Deluxe 3devices 1 Year.Security Coverage: As compared to Bit Defender, Kaspersky, Quick Heal, and AVG Norton does scan / protect.- Home network and router to check if any hack attempt or unsecured setting.- Also does not check is any IOT devices on the network for any malicious activity.- Does not give any protection to camera connected on the network- For internet security, need to install Norton Safe Web additionally from Microsoft store (Norton will take you there) and no price shown to me for this tool on Microsoft store.VPN:- Even though it is mentioned for sale in India/Nepal/Sri Lanka. VPN is not supported in this region. And nowhere this information is mentioned.Auto Renewal:- Even India is not listed in the list of country if you want to configure for auto renewal.- Kenia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and many other such underdeveloped countries are listed but not India. Probably Official support to India region is under question in this situation.Price:- While checking for VPN and auto renewal found the price on its official website is ~20% lesser than the price on amazon.Unwanted features:- Parental Control: For the single PC user Parental control is of no use. If PC is used by multiple peoples specially children's, this feature is good however can be controlled up to some extent through Router also.- Backup: Cloud storage forces to list at least something to get backed up to the cloud storage. If you don't want any sensitive data to be moved out of your PC, here is a threat.- Software updater: scans for any software have newer version available to update and updates them. Only good thing here is it shows the severity of the old software in use.Performance:- For me PC becomes very slow after installation Using i7 (H) 6th Gen, 8Gb RAM with SSD drive. Not sure whether it because of old PC or Norton's performance. Although performance status shows green on Norton status. Before Installing Norton, PC speed was good Even when I am running virtual PC along with reading and processing bulk data and process them with python.- While Full scan is running PC heats up and hangs on click on Norton application pages itself.Wanted to know if this subscription can be cancelled or at least downgraded to single user so that I can install another Antivirus on other PC's to fulfill my needs.
