Inexpensive, good features
Performed very well out of the box. Good number of features for the $$. Very easy set-up. I don't know the repeatability or stability over time but so far very pleased.

To use the PC interface requires installing a lot of software
Instructions for getting the PC software to work are lacking. To do it, dig through the installation software provided and install three separation installation packages. One for the serial adapter, one for the National Instruments Software package, and finally one that installs the actual interface software. But once you do, it works as advertised.

Easy to operate!
I really liked and appreciated the ease of operating this little box! Appreciated the Quick Start instructions matched the hardware! In plain English, too! Waveforms were as perfect as could be and frequency control very sensible with knob control. Was even able to use it as a BFO for a portable shortwave radio with no BFO!Lower output voltages had some hash and transient spikes probably due to the switching supply/wall wart adapter supplied. Will try later with a battery to verify. There is a pile of cables supplied with this that look well made. Will follow up later when I actually use this in troubleshooting and measuring. I think there are more complete instructions on the web that must be read, printed and read again.Update: This generator is very stable! The Lissajous figure of a circle never varied for over an hour. Whether circle, line or in between, the phase angle dialed in on channel 2 responded instantly and never varied. Unlike even a very stable HP audio oscillator or two rf sources. Those drift guarabteed.

Lots of functions and simple to use but check outputs before connecting to anything sensitive.
I’ve had this over six months and use it mostly for injecting signals into audio equipment. It’s worked well and would have gotten 5 stars except for a problem the last time I used it. One of the two channels was putting out ten times the power that it was set to (and I blew the power transistors in the amp I was working on.) A factory reset fixed it and both channels work as they should. I’ll keep using it but will be sure to test the outputs before connecting it to anything again.

Very compact and a lot of functions
Fast shipping. Just received it. Did go through all the waveforms and all look very good. Will be using to troubleshoot mostly main cpu bds. on digital instruments. Will update later if any problems. So far I would recommend this unit.

Useless toy
Too expensive for useless toy. Not for DIY even. Just for demonstration purpose.

Good value for the money; order some rubber feet/pads
Bought this as a cheap exerciser for my Siglent oscilloscope, and it works very well for this job. The frequency sweep mode works very well. If you're trying to go up to 200MHz or higher, you have probably figured out by now that it's an expensive PITA. Buy this instead and rig up a frequency doubler or something.

So many uses, I can't even count them.
This unit generates sine, square, triangle, pulse and many other waveforms at adjustable levels and frequencies from low audio (kHZ) tones to 60 MHz. You can modulate one channel with the other (audio tone on an RF frequency). It also sweeps from a low to a high frequency at a user specified rate, so you can essentially sweep a filter for frequency response using this and an oscilloscope. If you want to develop electronic projects, you can go without a signal generator, and this one (IMO) hits the sweet spot between sufficient features and reasonable pricing. I am very happy with mine.Oh, maybe I forgot to mention it also doubles as a frequency counter, too. It's like the Swiss-Army knife of the electronics world. :)
