Comes ready to go. Usb pads work nicely. Get some usb extension cables if you plan on sitting further than 5 ft from the tv. Or get bluetooth pads {no luck connecting 8bitdo pads, but I was able to connect two dualshock 4 controllers}There are so many games... Trust me, if you are looking for a certain console game pre ps2/gamecube era, it's probably there. And the menus, layout by system, screensaver... Everything just screams attention to detail. (I love the screensaver.. It shows clips of random games, and shows the games title screen too so you can find it afterwards...)And you can add more games. I just added tecmo super bowl 2020.This machine has saved me the hassle of trying to have a little computer, mini console or my phone as my nostalgia machine and constantly having to fiddle with it.So worth the money!(Good customer service too. I erased my controller configs meaning the usb pads wouldn't work anymore, nor would the bluetooth 8bitdo. Completely my fault but of course I had no idea what I was doing. They answered my message quickly and were willing to help but I had it figured out finally)

Being an ancient gamer dating back to the original Pong, finding this incredible little “big” system was like winning the lottery. Leo and the gang at RGH have put together a great plug and play console that’s like having a mini computer with over 125K games at your fingertips. Great gameplay and the graphics are crisp and clear. They don’t cut corners with peripherals. Power supply, cables and controls included are top quality. Customer service and tech support is by far the best I’ve encountered. I had a few questions and received timely, detailed and friendly replies. Definitely one of the advantages of dealing with a small family owned business. RetroGamingHaven in a word rocks!

Impeccable emulation. Incredible library. If it was in the 16 bit era or earlier, almost every singe game is here. And there’s even a great selection of 32 bit and later. You can add CRT scan lines as well. It’s a quick YouTube tutorial away. You can also easily program almost any USB controller you have to work on this thing.I still collect retro games to play on original hardware, but this is what I now use to decide what games are worth the big bucks.This is a perfect gift for any retro gamer trying to go on a nostalgia trip, and it’s perfect for younger gamers looking to dive into gaming’s history without breaking the bank on original hardware. Money well spent.

This is a great console with a lot of games to play. While some games don't run or require a curtain controller to play most of what you get will play. I had some audio issues so once I contacted the seller we were able to solve the problem.

This console is so great to have all your game options in one little box! Set up is super easy and customer service is superb! They responded to my questions quicker than expected and were extremely kind and helpful! I can’t recommend enough!

The system just stopped working. I have emailed them several times over the last couple months. As soon as I told them the problem they stopped responding to my emails. But when I post on Amazon they respond with some excuse why they haven’t responded. Oh you must of went to our junk mail or we are busy with Christmas orders. So I’m assuming once they get your money you get a product that last a few hrs of playing time and they ignore any issues. To bad too, it was fun while it lasted. Frustrated, I just want to know what to do to fix my problem. Do I need a whole new system? Is it just the SD card? Anyway, Happy New Year’s

This is the best! I highly recommend this gaming system. It's easy to use from the moment you open the box, the content is well-organized, and the customer support from this small business is top notch. They've designed it so you can rotate through by creator (Nintendo, Sega, etc) and all the games are alphabetized. The graphics are bright and clear, even on a 65" large tv. We also love that they have a "favorites" tab, where you can add all your most loved games for even quicker access.We bought this for our boys and have enjoyed many evenings & rainy days together, showing them the ins and outs of our favorite games. For the amount of games you get in one package, the price is great. Every game we loved as kids is included, and our boys are finding even more to enjoy! We'll have years of fun ahead with all the game options.

It's like reliving my childhood and teen years again. All of my favorite old school games and plenty of games I haven't played yet. Super fast little computer and very easy to hook and use. Well worth the money.
