As soon as I opened the box I knew it wasn't going to work out for me. First thing I noticed is the quality of the plastic. Feels like the stuff they make Fisher Price playground slides with; while that stuff is technically durable it’s not what I want on my sexy new iPhone. Next I try to put the case on and it makes you cringe with how much force you have to use to get it in (that’s what she said!). I almost didn't do it for fear of scratching the sides of my phone (more on that later). But of course after spending 56 bucks for it, I was determined to like this thing. I went ahead and forced it in there. It feels really thick and wide (that’s also what she said!) which I don't like for a phone case. The slippery Fisher Price plastic is also hard to grip. Usually you do selfies one-handed so there goes that. The box says it has a charge indicator but nowhere did I see a light or anything that indicated the charge nor the battery life left on it. It must have already been charged up because it lit up. Perhaps a returned item? Super awesome bright light!! And yes it does dim which I think is pretty cool too! Took some photos and damn, I look terrible! Every little blemish is extremely visible. I thought about it and it really seems like this is for people who always have full coverage make up on or have no flaws. I take selfies, but rarely do I have full on flawless makeup so this would just accentuate the bad stuff honestly. I still wanted to like it because at least when I do have my face on fleek I can take good photos. Plus I can use it as a flashlight right?! But then I was like, man this thing makes me look douchy AF! I also noticed that the case was so much bigger than it really needed to be. I think it was just designed poorly. The LED lights are so tiny and thin that they really don't need that much material encasing it. Plus when you try to press the side buttons or swipe the screen, you have to dig deep to reach them or swipe the screen and end abruptly because your finger catches the raised edges. The clear plastic part that sits over the lights (which sort of magnifies/disperses the light more) looked like it was separating from the Fisher Price plastic backing so that didn't give me any confidence in the longevity and the durability of this case much less the protection. So now that I have easily made my decision to return it, now I have take this thing off. Let me tell you, that was no easy task! If you have longer nails you could use them to crowbar your way out but at the risk of damaging your nail because that thing needs a lot of force to come out. I ended up using the smooth lever handle of a big nail clipper wrapped in a paper towel and as carefully as I could pry it the hell out. Jesus! Luckily, no scratches but damn, just barely. For a while I was sure I "bent" my iPhone but after much inspecting and comparing it appears to be un-bent! All I can say, is if you're willing to go through all this trouble after reading my review, you and this case deserve each other!

I purchased the phone case for the 6S in the Rose Gold. I'm pleased with the color and it feels sturdy on the phone. I do agree that it's a bit hard to get out and for ladies with nails, once you have the phone in the case it gets a little bit harder to use the volume buttons and the side power button. The light gets nice and bright and it definitely make a difference in dark areas. One thing I don't like about the case is that dust and dirt easily gets stuck in between the case and your phone which is kind of gross. It's not a huge problem as you can take the phone out and clean it off but it would be nice if they tried to change the way the phone itself slides in so that that problem might be alleviated. I also don't like that the phone says "Lumee" in such a large font, I think I would prefer it smaller in a more discreet area although I understand they probably want to advertise. :p I say do your research and watch youtube videos if you are thinking of purchasing, that helped me decide. I haven't noticed too much discoloration around the sides of the case either as some other people who bought the lighter colors stated, but I also think Lumee should increase the color selection. Overall, I love the case and feel it's worth it as my phone does feel protected and the light does what it says it will as far as better quality photos from those late nights out.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I bought this case because it's the same selfie case that the Kardashian family uses. They've definitely chosen well - the light that this case emits is extremely bright, which makes for clear selfies even in very dark environments. I'm a selfie-holic and a Snapchat addict, so this case is one of my favorite toys. The lighting can be dimmed if you don't want such a harsh light, simply by pressing and holding the "on" button. Likewise, if you press and hold it again, it will brighten back up. Super simple to use.My only gripe about this case is that I didn't realize how bulky it was. The photos don't do a great job of illustrating that. It nearly doubles the thickness of my iPhone 6s, and has a rather wide overhang that makes hitting the power and volume buttons a little difficult. I adjusted to this after a few days, but it definitely took me a bit to get used to. Regardless, I love this light, and so do other people - I have gotten tons of comments, and when I stopped in to the cell phone store to pay my bill early this week, the associates went nuts about it.This case would be a 5/5 if not for how bulky it was; if form isn't a factor for you, go for it! I bought this because I heard the light would enhance my selfies. It didn't disappoint! There is adequate lighting to take pictures in any situation and only drawback is the case is a bit bulkier than I would want. I wanted to carry it on a daily basis, but since the case is bulky, I would only use it when taking selfies which is kinda of a drag because I would have to go between two cases but it will just have to do. I really like the pictures I been taking with the added light. I'd recommend it to a friend and let them know about the size tool

The light is great. The color is great. It's easy to use. A bit bulkier than my clear iPhone 6s case. I actually ended up giving it to my neice who is selfie obsessed because shortly after getting it my phone fell face first and the diaper bag landed on top of it. Crushing my precious right where the front facing camera is. So it's not protective. And YES I DID HAVE A SCREEN PROTECTOR and a great one at that. So it's great if you're super careful with your phone and you're not worried about paying to have a new screen put in.

Although reading all reviews I still stupidly thought that this case may pull through. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in a real looking box and the case inside worked well and look sturdy. The case worked for a total of a week and then wouldn't let me charge it as it died, I then also realised the case was fake as it didn't have the correct Lumee Logo. This case IS FAKE, not worth the money and will most likely break in a week. Before buying this read all the reviews as it is £40 down the drain for something that doesn't work.I am very disappointed in amazon as it clearly says the product was real. The company should remove this item as it is a waste of money and quite frankly a trick! Despite all the downs of this product it also chipped within the week and rather badly on the corner, leaving me unable to try to return.

Bought this for my daughter and she loves the case, she says it makes the selfies look better and it's good fun! It got a bit scuffed looking very quickly but it doesn't seem to bother her.

Hi, I purchased the product and I've noticed, it doesn't turn on when I want it to turn on. Also even when it's fully charged, the light keeps turning dim automatically and also switches off and on itself. I haven't used the product for long. It happened when I first turned it on. I bought one for my friend and hers is perfectly fine, however I am not pleased with mine.

I doubt its a genuine lumee case, like id expected. I order the rose gold and received a gold case, and its larger than i expected.But it does dim the lights and the lights do give you a better selfie.Overall maybe a bit pricey for a fake! The reviews before i bought the case where all positive but they have changed since purchasing product.
