This sump pump was easy to install and has been working superbly .i purchase an 1 1/2" back-flow valve, an 1 1/2 male threaded pvc coupler a 90 degree pic fitting and a rubber repair coupler(it quiets down the transferred noise) and some pvc pipe . Whith all the rain here in Seattle this year it's been getting a work-out. Great buy

We bought this to replace a sump pump that we used to pump water out of our pool. It works much better & faster than the old Flotec which had the same specifications. We are very pleased with the pump that we have had to use many times because of heavy rains in our area this month.

A steal for the price. This thing runs every 10 minutes 24/7 without a problem. In fact, for the price I bought another to have on hand just in case.If nothing else, pick one up for an emergency backup should your primary failed at 2:00AM some morning.

I purchased this pump as a secondary to our main sump pump. Sometimes our main pump can not keep up and the sump basin will overfill flooding the basement. This unit claims 3600 GPH which is very good for a small unit. Keep in mind I have two sump pumps in my sump basin so size is of each to fit and allowing the trigger to function is critical. The set up is easy. Need a 1 1/2 threaded pipe to screw into the pump outlet. Simply plumb with PVC pipe after that. You will need a check valve. This pump pulls water from the top and not the base area like many pump. As a result there will be a few inches of water left in the basin after each pumping cycle. After installation I filled the basin several times to adjust the trigger mechanism. I was able to move the trigger mechanism to the desired height so the pump will kick in if the water level gets beyond the main pump. It is also nice to have an additional pump in the basin if one goes bad. This pump with a main pump and battery back up smaller pump should work just fine and with a piece of mind.

Item works well in my outdoor water feature. I like the switch that turn off the unit if the water level is low. I did not have one on my last pump and it burned up.

Second Flotec Pump after a year the entire motor mount broke out of the bottom of of the pump this a second pump, the first flotec pump did the same thing contracted Flotec, produce out of warranty no help. save your money and buy another brand.....

Easy to install.Replaced my 20 year old pump with no pipe fitting needed. Just installed and plugged in.

Compact design, doesn't seem as robust as other Flotec models I have installed. I am hopeful it will last as long or longer than others but won't know that for several years. Easy to install and get operational.
