This works great and easy to use
When I got this I opened the box not knowing about the lighting I hooked up my red and white cables and went to plug in my lightening into my tv. And it didn’t want to stay it didn’t seem like I was doing anything wrong so I called my neighbor to come over and help me. He looked at it and said that that little white ball needs to come of the end. He said that he purchased a lightening wire and it had attached to the ball a strap so when he got his in the instructions to pull the cap off and if he needs to unplug it to put the cap on to protect the end

I ordered this AC adapter from VirVentures -- the same Amazon seller as the radio - for a couple of dollars above the lowest available price. If, using the adapter, the radio could not pull in weak signals as I had hoped, I didn't want to take a loss on an adapter from another seller without free returns. Amazon split my same-day orders into two (both with free shipping,) and the adapter for some reason took an extra two weeks to reach me. In the end, I am happy with my purchase.

Not much to say but it works. I am able to use the radio with a power cord verses going through lots of batteries.

Order this for Sangeon 19 stereo radio
It was confusing on Amazon which AC adapter to order. A couple reviews suggested this was the one, so I ordered it with Sangeon 19BK stereo radio. Both radio and AC adapter work great! Previous radio was struggling to pull in clear sound. Quality varied depending on where I was in the room. No problem any more. Clear FM signal with antenna in shortest length. I agree with other reviewers that it would make more sense to bundle AC adapter with radio. I am keeping batteries in Radio for outside use and power outages.

This works in the USA (120 volt power) with the Sangean model PR-D17.

Works without interference.
There are probably cheaper alternatives out there, it is, after all, a no frills adapter; but this one by Sangean works without picking up any interference AND eliminates the need for batteries when the radio is close to an outlet. Using it with the Sangean PR-D19BK FM Stereo/AM Digital Tuning Portable Radio
