worked great for a klipper sensor
I used this a s vibration sensor for my 3d printer to reduce the ringing artifacts in 3d prints with my klipper install and a Pi zero. works great and easy to work with.

Nice!
Worked plug and play with MainsailOS for my 3D printer. EZ-PZ input shaping now. Don't mind the bent pins in the picture, I did that when I homed the printer forgetting it was attached to the bed and the hotend rammed over it.

Poor documentation, header is pictured wrong, not working
The price is the only thing I like about this product.First, the documentation is poor. Their website has limited documentation that is hard to find. There is no subject ADXL345 for documents. You have to know to look for the "Super kit" that contains an ADLX345. Then look at the tutorial for that sensor(#18). Problem is that the document isn't compatible with most PC browsers. For example the schematic shows a question mark in a box (ie, it can't display the image) and the sample code is cut off in half and can't be scrolled down. I tried IE, Chrome, Safari and a few othersSecond, the picture in the description shows a right-angle header but it comes with a straight header. That may sound picky, but I'm using it to measure g's in the z direction which aligns with the straight header pins. So at higher g's the connector slides along the z axis and can produce intermittent results or even slide off.Lastly, I soldered wires to the header but still could not get any of the 3 units to respond to any I2c address - I wrote a test program that tried all 255 addresses but no joy. I tried to return them but have not heard from them after 2 weeks and several emails. I did get a random email from J. asking if I was enjoying my new purchase and reminding me they have the best technical support in the world (or something like that). So I packed them away and ordered the Adafruit modules which have outstanding documentation and support.

Works, but with an unwanted catch
Listing shows these as coming unsoldered with two sets of header pins (straight and 90°), it comes with only straight and already soldered with pins sticking out of the bottom of the board. Didn't work for my application as I needed 90° out of the top of the board. Returned the first and ordered a second thinking it was a fluke, but second was received the same way.

Had problems with my accelerometers. SunFounder sent replacements.
I bought this because it has the SPI interface. So far I've had two just stop working on me. Initially they would seem to work with the Sparkfun library and example code. However, when I simply attached an SD card reader (a Sainsmart) to the SPI bus, I would start getting zeros. Or I could remove the card reader but the initialization code was enough to confuse the example app. I'm aware that the SD card and ADXL345 operate with different SPI modes. I thought I had a way around that in code. But, like I said, the ADXL345 just stopped working. Are these things super vulnerable to static? I took the usual precautions. Usually break out boards work well for me.It looks like I'm going to have to break down and use an MPU-6050 (the 6000 with SPI seems impossible to find) that uses I2C. Extra wiring and more code on my Arduino Nano. The whole point of the ADXL345 was to avoid this extra complexity. I just want to use it as an inclinometer.Edit: Two extra stars for customer service. SunFounder sent replacement accelerometers in response to my review.

Defective and disgusting packaging
My chip came in and the first thing I noticed was that the anti-static bag was covered in a sticky liquid. Eww, but not that big of a deal. What is a big deal is that after wiring it up, the device wouldn’t return any values. It’s DOA

Works if youre not doing it wrong
Another comment states device failure when using with another device but that's most likely caused by drawing too much power for the arduino. Device works as stated and good price

RAS

Funziona bene
Alla fine è un buon sensore economico, spedito ed imballato correttamente e in tempi ragionevoli. Non ho avuto problemi di setup. Viene fornito con due set di pin uno dritto e uno a 90* per renderlo più semplice da integrare.
