I purchased this 4/0 to power an inverter installed in a truck camper as part of an electrical upgrade project. I was dealing with tight spaces and I needed to snake the wire down narrow areas and make sharp turns. I was surprised just how flexible this wire is. If you need 4/0 wiring and need to make turns in confined spaces, I highly recommend.I didn't deduct a star for this but I was not at all impressed with the shipping. I purchased 15ft of 4/0 and another 10 ft of 2/0. A lot of weight! These items came together in a USPS priority mail container. However, these containers are not strong enough for these items and sure enough, when the item arrived, the box had gashes and was chewed up good. You might say, it doesn't matter since it's just indestructible wire. True, but included with it were terminal lugs and heat strink. I am so glad these smaller items did not fall out given the big gashes in the box as I was awaiting the shipment to continue working on my project.

These will be used for the cables on my battery's for my solar panel system.

Flexible pure copper wire. Only complaint is that it is undersized for what it says it is. I purchased 6awg and I have a hydraulic crimper. Using the supplied lugs the crimp was not tight enough to be a proper crimp. To get around this I had to strip more than I needed and fold some of the wire over on itself. This caused the diameter of the wire to increase and allowed the crimp to be secure.

The wire and ends worked well for me. I hooked up a 3000-watt sein wave inverter. good transference of the amount of power that I needed.

The welding cable is tough stuff. It can take abuse! Even the thicker gauge stuff is still relatively “bendy” and not stiff. Heck I have some 12 gauge PV cable that feels like trying to bend a solid bar of metal!I use Windynation welding cable for all my high amp solar and battery builds.

Only Con I could think of is if WN had an sales option for 5 of the lugs being 3/8 and 5 being 5/16. Oh Ya they did that LOL
