This is Bob. Hear me now and listen to me later. I tried 4 different Wi-Fi systems both 2.4 and 5. Whatever. They all cut out. And, only during my most brilliant playing. So, after consulting with my doctors I popped for this. This is old school good. Zero drops. Make sure you check shure’s website for the best channel for your area. It looks kinda cool having the body pack on your strap. And, it sounds great. Two thumbs up.

Trusty Old BLX Series. This is Wireless platform to go to, when you need gaincontrol, or when you run out of GLX-D 2.4 GHz channels in your venue.Recently we used this pair for a special purpose. Our customer wanted a Podium Mounted Gooseneck Mic. The Podium is on wheels, customer wants to be able to move the podium around the stage during the events without wires. Shure has a wireless solution with their very expensive ULX-D series. But we needed to stay below $600. Here is what we came up with:- Shure BLXR-H9 Receiver (I like the R version since it can the rackmounted and it has a LCD Signal display)- Shure CVG12-B/C Gooseneck Condensor Mic installed on the Podium (A Low cost, very sensitive (hot) Mic).- Denecke PS-1A Phantom Power Supply (Clenest Phanton Power Supply I hae come acriss so far. It introduces no noticeable noise and runs on a Single 9 Volt or external PS)- Shure WA310 TR4 to XLR Cable. (Need this to hookup XLR Mic to the BLX Transmitter. At $19 for Shure brand it was a no-brainer)I went with an Analog Transmitter/Receiver since there is a Gain adjustment available. Shure CVG is a 'hoit' mic. So I needed the gain control. The setup worked like a charm. All components except the Shure Goosneck Mic is installed inside the podium. A clean setup.Yes, there are other manufacturer's who has this solution of of the box. But I have not come across one with the same audio quality as the Shure Mics.

UHF for the win! Plenty of range for small clubs. No problem at about 70feet, which is as far as I can get from the stage before Audio delay is too much to be able to stull play along with the band. I've tried at least 5 different 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless and they are ALL TERRIBLE. Everyone in the crowd has wireless and we have a wireless router on our mixer to connect to tablets. No chance of the 2.4GHz or 5GHz stuff working in a modern club environment.. Unless you have no crowd and now wireless routers to compete with...

I’ve done a lot of playing with different wireless brands, such as Line 6, Xvive, etc., but none really perform the way this Shure unit does. This wireless has excellent range, signal quality, and durability. The transmitter runs on 2 AA batteries, but they last a heck of a long time. You can switch channels if you have interference (which I never have, but it’s a nice feature to be able to use). There is also a gain control inside the transmitter if you wish to adjust the signal volume.When it comes to this unit, just go ahead and spend the extra money because you are getting a reliable wireless instead of something that’s going to stop working the next day or cut out on you in the middle of a gig.

I had nothing but trouble with this unit. Even 3 ft from the receiver it had bad cutouts and odd noises. I used the search feature to find empty bands but that didn't help. I played two gigs. The first gig the unit made horrible fart noises which echoed through the venue. The second gig at a different venue it had repeated dropouts. The drummer complained about my timing, which was due to significant delay through the unit. Lucky I was still in the return window, and I returned it.

We have a lot of GHz based wireless systems on stage, mics, in ear and others. Using the UHF for these environments is very reliable. No dropouts experienced. I have not used the unit with other UHF devices on stage.

I gave up on less expensive 2.4 GHz systems. This one is far better in crowded rooms with lots of interference on WiFi bands. Check the Shure website before ordering to ensure you get the correct frequency range for your area.

So far, have used at two shows, and this is the best of 3 wireless guitar systems that I have tried.. my absolute favorite thing about it is it has its own frequency and channel search for the clearest frequency and channel at a particular location. This is unbelievably valuable. I played a huge show that could hold 1000 people and after searching the frequency, this considering all of the other iPads, iPhones, Wi-Fi including our own sound system and we all use wireless in ear monitors, this did not cut out one time and I was able to roam the entire place. I have tried the Roland as well as an audio technica and neither one have worked this well... advice to you... find out the best frequency for your area ( Shure has a service website where u can put in your zip code)... I bought this through pitbull audio via Amazon, have bought quite a few other not so expensive items from pitbull and so far pitbull has had outstanding quick delivery. Literally within two days I received the item to be able to use for weekend show. Very pleased... hi average for good size shows a month will do a follow up in another few months to talk about sustainability how it’s working then as well.

Like there mics, this can take some abuse. You can buy cheaper wireless systems but why? This is very reliable.

Algo costoso comparado con otras opciones pero vaya que vale cada peso.lo mas destacable es que puedes subir la ganancia de entrada del instrumento.

El producto no me funciono optimamente por la cancelación de frecuencias, al tener el equipo h9 estandar con frecuencia 512-542, esas frecuencias no sirven en mexico, no se porque amazon vende esos equipos en mexico, si aqui no funcionan.

Shure es calidad, no hay duda de eso
