Beautiful bed!
For the price I thought this was a super cute bed. I would definitely recommend 2 people to set up. I found it fairly easy until I had to connect all the arched parts of the carriage. There was a lot of cursing and frustration. Overall, very happy with purchase!

Nice bed/ assebling is pain
I want to say i like the bed my daughter loves it.What i didn't like is the assembly. Directions are very easy to understand. The problem is they give you a little L shaped allen wrench with smaller screws. The holes have no thread. So you line the 2 pieces up start turning allen wrench. Most time can only do quarter of a tur before hitting another piece. To reset aleen wrench to pray threads catch a hole. Then get to top with all the arches. I found impossible to line all up with circular piece without having some one help. I think most my problems revolved around little allen wrench and no threads in holes. If you have a ratcheting screwdriver with assortment of allen wrench bits probably have easier time, or more than just 1 person assembling so they could hold parts together. Now it looks beautiful but i don't want to have to ever take apart and reassemble

Lifesaver, and so cute
This bed is darling!!! I actually contribute my tiny bit of sanity left to this bed. Let me explain. My kids are cosleepers. Always have been, and when they're small it's adorable. However, I found myself in a queen sized bed with my 4 year old daughter, almost 2 year old son, a husband and a giant pregnant belly. Don't ask how that's happened. Any of it. We upgraded to a king sized bed, which helped, but my husband and I were still hanging off of each side of the bed with our 2 children snuggled up in the middle, looming heavenly, kicking us all night. We've been working with my daughter on sleeping in her own bed for years, but we don't do cry it out, and she just hasn't been interested in sleeping alone. Until this glorious pink princess carriage bed. She adores it and I've gotten some of my bed back. From a technical standpoint, my husband assembled the bed in under an hour, all pieces were there, and I haven't noticed any scratches, rust, or any of the other things mentioned in some of these reviews. It's really perfect. One thing not mentioned in the description is that you WILL need a box spring. 100%. I didn't think it was necessary, and we had to run out last minute and buy one. Don't think you can wing it and not use a box spring. Don't do it. Learn from my mistake!

Cute! Sturdy, easy to put together
I didn’t have scratches or rust like the other reviews. I thought the quality wouldn’t be as great since this was far less than other similar beds. No complaints here! It’s built well, and my nephew who is 16 assembled it. It doesn’t take long. I am happy, and my 4 year old daughter is even happier!

First "Big Girl" Bed!
I just love this bed for my daughter - and she loves it too. It took my husband a few hours to put it together (and this is all while watching the playoffs at the same time). The bed came packaged securely in a rectangular box. All of the pieces were securely wrapped in plastic and plenty of foam and separated to prevent scratches. We purchased the pink bed and yes, there are imperfections in the paint job but they are minor - we had a few splotchy spots but no rust at all like some of the other reviews mentioned. And when the bed is all put together you have to search for them to point them out; definitely not anything that makes us want to send it back. You WILL need a boxspring because the base of the bed literally only has 3 bars. We ordered both the boxspring and mattress from Amazon also. This was a fairly inexpensive bed that turned out beautifully and that makes our 4 year old feel like she gets to sleep Cinderella's carriage every night. We figure she'll get 5 years or so out of it, depending on if she follows the rule to not swing from the bars. ;)

Adorable
The media could not be loaded. Pros.Gorgeous!.My daughter loves it.Two women with no installation background were able to put it togetherCons. You’ll need some sort of base or box spring because the mattress alone falls straight through due to not enough slats

Oh. my. goodness. the cuteness!
This bed is absolutely adorable! It looks so cute in person, and it's strong and sturdy. I rated it 5 stars because it's just so much fun! However, there are a couple of things that maybe should be noted... There are a few nicks in the paint. I was a little disappointed to find chipped paint when I unwrapped the pieces. I figured it would be easy enough to just repaint it in the future, so it's not a huge deal especially since my just turned 4 year old daughter uses this bed like a jungle gym... Also, assembly was a bit tricky. The directions are fairly straight forward, and set up is pretty easy. The only hard part was putting the cap/finial on top. It was tough to hold the curved post in place and line it up with the cap. It would be easiest to have 2 people for that step. But, considering I put this together in about an hour with 2 kids "helping" it wasn't a bad job! This bed is just too adorable to pass up. If you have a girl who loves princesses, this bed will be a huge hit!

Perfect for a princess
Beautiful bed for a little girl. We added the toddler bed rail to ensure she won’t fall out and it fits perfectly.
