Good solid SSD for the price.
Good solid SSD for the price. I used this for a fanless mini PC. Works perfectly. I can't vouch for it's speed because the PC is no speed demon. It's a N100 cpu wonder. I'm very satisfied. I am using in a USB C external enclosure.

Works with my Pi5
Used this with my Pimoroni SSD kit to give a boost to my Pi5.Fits right into the SSD kit and is recognized by Raspberian OS (Debian bookworm) without any tinkering. The pi cloner software does a good job of moving the sd card OS to the SSD in a reasonable amount of time. Load times are super quick now! Really noticeable difference! One point on the clone though, ssh'ing into the box and exporting your display to remotely run the clone won't work (at least with the one I got from the repo). Tried a lot of workarounds, but eventually I had to just connect to the console.

Saved me hundreds
I recently got a new laptop and I needed extra storage for it. My days with a PC with 5 or 6 drives spoiled me and the 500gb the laptop came with wasn't even close to enough. The drive is nice and fast and was cheaper to get than upgrading to 1tb from the manufacturer.

Easy to setup and work perfectly as expected
My High School Son needed to add more hard drive space in his laptop from existing 250 GB. This 2 TB is more than enough for now (or next 1 year or so) considering we have Synology setup at home for backups and long term storage. He use this for modern games along with his friends. Needed quick turn around time and professional quality for his school work as well as games. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Big storage, cheap and works great in windows but...read on
The price is cheaper than others for the same capacity. Their products seem reliably because I've used it so many times in the past. I bought this to build RPi5 NAS using with Geekworm X1001 NVMe top HAT and OMV software. Raspberry Pi5 recognizes the SSD and can install OS on it without any issues until OMV software is added. It's slow to respond to commands and I'm having some difficulties setting up within OMV like not showing up in some places. To troubleshoot the problem I then use Crucial SSD and everything works fine, not problem at all, same as in windows. From the image above, its read/write are very fast. So, keep this in mind when using this combo.

Cheap and Useful
So you need a cheaper drive, no frills or features but can get going and start gaming?Well this is the drive you for you. There is not much I can complain about on the drive, it works, it is decently quick and most of all it is cheap for the amount of storage you get

Failed After Just One Year
I used this drive exclusively for my Steam games—nothing else was installed or downloaded to it. After about a year and a half, I started experiencing issues during game updates, with games bugging out or failing entirely. Within a week, the drive stopped appearing in both Disk Manager and BIOS, and completely failed.A 2TB M.2 drive dying this early is simply unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and stick with a more reliable brand like WD Black, Samsung, or Crucial.
