Xiaomi Mi Band 5 Fitness Tracker, Newest 1.1” Color AMOLED Display Black Sport Band

I've grown tired of buying expensive FitBit's, as they always stop working on me after about a year. I still wanted a tracker, but I didn't feel like throwing away another couple hundred bucks. So I grabbed this cheap band that has good reviews. I was skeptical. But this is not just a really great tracker for the money, it's a really great tracker period. It does all the same stuff as my FitBit and lasts about a week on a charge. I've only had it a couple months, so the jury is still out as far as how long it will last, but it seems pretty resilient. If it stops working within the year, I'll update the review. In the meantime: recommended!** EDIT **Well, a few months later and one fall from a shelf and the screen shattered. I guess they sell protectors for them, so advisable that you either use one or don't drop this ever. I purchased a Mi Band 7 as a replacement and am equally as happy with it. Let's hope I don't drop it!

This product is very good as a backup morning alarm. It has an excellent camera timer for taking group photos with your phone at a distance. It vibrates usefully every mile of outdoor exercise- but sometimes it’s hard to get it to find your location to start. If it can’t, it won’t be able to track your distance at all. It’s a decent step counter but it over counts and is fooled by arm Movement.Overall it is very good for the low price!

I’ve really really enjoyed this product. Extremely affordable. Easy to use. And a great way to encourage my workouts.

I do like this fitness watch, and the app is ok too. i lost my much more expensive fitbit, which i disliked, before i had a chance to return it. the only thing i liked about fitbit, it was better shaped and not as bulky as mi 5.i wish the chinese version of mi 5 was available on amazon. it seems strange that some useful features are missing from the 'international' version. and the app is still limited to mostly traditional forms of exercise. no options for tai chi or chi gong, and others more interesting forms. though the company is based in china. maybe chinese version has better options. the app does not seem to be as invasive as fitbit. fitbit is a true tracker. health is simply by-product. its goal is to track you like a 'big brother',privacy be damned. even if all you want is to count steps , watch your heart rate and know calories your burned. not possible, without being 'socially' connected, so fitbit can collect info about you and sell it to the highest bidder. fb model, except fitbit wants to you pay them 100's of $ to steal your data. nice., notwhen it comes to bands, not many interesting styles available on amazon. just boring silicone bracelets, which btw easy to unhock and so looe the watch. that was how i lost that dreadful fitbit.priice was good. would recommend mi 5 as a gift, though prices jumped after thanksgiving.

Holds a charge for many days. I love the magnetic charge port.The silicone band is easily adjustable and is comfortable.Watch does everything I need for exercising and more that I didn't know I needed. Was affordable and there are inexpensive aftermarket chargers and colored bands available for this model. Very happy.

This band is awesome! I resisted getting a fitness band for years, the price being a major deterrent. This tracker is affordable, accurate, comfortable, and easy to clean, which is a major concern for me if something is going to stay on both day and night. Being able to change the custom image of the home screen is also super fun, and there are a lot of designs to choose from.

Works well at the price. Tracks sleep, heartrate well. Calories tracked does not include base metabolic rate. Music controls are not accessible during workout modes.

This is our third one, My wife lost her's. We use it mostly to track the number of steps and the intensity of our workout. Very good product for the price. If you have a small wrist, buy different wrist band, their wristband doesn't stay on if you are active.
