It will SUPER KNOCK your BLOCK off!!
If you are a big kid, a collector, or just want to have some fun I highly recommend this version of Rock'em Sock'em robots.I have been interested in buying a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots game for a few years, however I had yet to find a version (themed copy) I thought displayed both quality and pure awesomeness. With all of the poor reviews of quality on other regular non themed versions of Rockem Sockem Robots, I had been holding off on pulling the trigger on buying a copy. When I saw this toy/game in a newsfeed, I knew it was the one. I bought it the first day I saw it on Amazon. The figures are really durable and look great! So far they have held up to grown men performing wrestling style moves along with the normal punches, being dropped from kitchen counter height onto hard flooring, and a three year old's throwing across the room. The free form non-ring format of the fighters is a huge plus to me. It allows for a bit more imaginative play. The toy engineers for this product put actual thought into several small functional details that I appreciated. The toy heads do not pop up and off like the original robot fighters. This would ruin the feel of the game for me (having Superman's head shoot up on an extended neck is not a cool image). Instead the fighters pop off their 'building rubble' fighting stands if their chin/head is hit just right. It makes for some very cool knock-outs. We had Batman get knocked out and hung up on Superman's fist, so I did a victory flight around the room. The aesthetics of the characters and their fighting stands are just awesome. Also, the action figures are much bigger than I thought they would be! I believe they are about 8 inches without the fighting stands.Just hit the Add to Cart button, you will not be disappointed!P.S. I hope other characters (superhero or other) are licensed for this format of Rockem Sockem Robots.

Nostalgic game with new characters
Purchased as a gift for my grandson. He loved it. So did his dad. Fun game. Nothing to assemble, just take out of the box and set in position for the battle.

So much fun, but different than the classic
Very fun and was a hit of the birthday party! The two dinos are not attached in any way which requires moving/sliding them across the playing surface (not something you'd want to do on just any surface). It also means as kids get excited the play can get more animated, with the risk of getting out of control. Didn't see that happen, but we got close a couple times and I definitely see this as a problem for some. One dino seemed a bit more stiff than the other which made the game play a bit unbalanced (one dino easily won more often than the other). But like I said, aside from the minor disadvantages, this was a hit and everyone (adults included) had fun with these!

Unfair game
This game is a really cool upgrade from the original. It is good quality and my kids like it. I give it three stars because Superman has an unfair advantage over Batman. My five year old found that supermans hands are harder than batmans which is why batman can never win. After checking them both out, my five year old is right. Supermans hands are rock solid while batmans is more soft. It is very noticeable because batman never ever wins. This is frustrating when you have two kids battling but one already has an advantage over the other. So i just let them keep the toys and not battle.

Our Boys Love It
It's a little smaller than I expected (the characters are just slightly taller than the length of my hand to my index finger). Superman and Batman are not attached to each other, they each have their own bases and you basically just put them near each other to start fighting. The buttons are easily pushed by even my two year old and instead of winning by popping up a head, you simply have to knock one off his base (which happens fairly easily). With a little practice my five year old learned to re-attach the figure to it's base, but sometimes the base itself comes apart and we have to help him fix it. All in all, my sons really love it. It has Batman and Superman and they punch each other, what else could two little boys ask for?

Cool toy.
My 6 year old son wanted the Rock Em Sock Em Robots. Instead of getting him that I found this toy instead. He is a Batman fan and went crazy when he saw this. Especially when he knows I’m a Superman fan. We have this rivalry with our superheroes, so we compete against them with this toy now. This is a super fun toy that the whole family enjoys. Even my 4 year old sons loves playing with this toy.No assembly required and you don’t have to put stickers on the toy. It’s well made and holds up with two rough boys. The toy has already been dropped a few times, especially when it is knocked off its platform. It hasn’t chipped or broke yet after playing with it a lot.The toy was shipped quickly and well packaged.
