A Great Synopsis of "A Course in Miracles"
I strongly believe that anyone who is interested in the nature of reality, philosophy or religion should read "A Course in Miracles Clarified." Even if you have never heard of "A Course in Miracles" (the Course), but you struggle with issues of sin, guilt, disease and the tragic and violent events of our times, this book can help. You don't need to have any prior exposure to the Course to benefit intellectually, emotionally and spiritually from reading this book. You don't even need to have an open mind when you start reading. "A Course in Miracles Clarified" will open your mind and explain what is real and what is illusion. This book is, as the cover states, "A quick and easy guide" to the Course. The original Course uses 365 daily lessons to allow the reader's mind to open itself to a different view of our personal reality. I read the Course many years ago, and as you might expect, it takes a bit of dedication to devote a year to absorbing the information. The language used in the original Course is also rather old-fashioned for today's readers.I wish I had "A Course in Miracles Clarified" available when I started the Course. Raymond Wells has distilled the fundamental principles of the original Course into a much smaller book and presented those principles in a logical order using plain language. I think that reading Mr. Wells' book before starting the Course would make the Course easier to understand. I don't think "A Course in Miracles Clarified" is meant to replace the Course, but it does put everything in context and allow you to know where you're going. As I remember the original Course, there was some ambiguity in my mind about some of the teachings. Mr. Wells' book removes this ambiguity and clarifies the ideas. When you read "A Course in Miracles Clarified," you will know all the facts and principles of the original Course. If you are interested in alternative ideas about the nature of reality, this book will allow you to quickly and easily learn the philosophy of the Course. If you want to have a more experiential education, then you can move on to the original Course. I won't talk about the benefits of the Course, Mr. Wells' book does that, I just want to encourage you to read it and find out for yourself.

Good summary
This book is a good, short summation of ACIM principles. It is written in an academic style with quotes. As a result it is possible to read Wells’ commentaries and skip the quotes.

It's Simple, Tells it like it is, and is not a time waster!
Ray Wells’ book: A Course in Miracles Clarified knocks it out of the park! It helps me tremendously to refer to Course’s teachings in such a concise and simplified format. My particular favorite is Chapter 11 on forgiveness. Forgiveness is such a basic key to learning the Course and practicing it. Ray’s explanation of forgiveness in an illusionary world talks about the steps necessary in order to wake up from the dream that we have created. He reminds us that true forgiveness cannot be accomplished without the Holy Spirit’s help. To be able to reference these steps when I need them is what has been a great help in times of conflict, judgement and distress. Thanks Ray! Geri T.

Thank You For This Book!
This book really stirred up my desire to do the lessons of ACIM. I have started them many times but didn't get far. I know it will take my body to do the lessons but it took my body to learn the ego. I feel sooooo much peace to know I don't have to do anything else to wake up. Of ALL the worldly ways I have tried to be "more" I KNOW my mind is gonna be undone and I will think like the Christ (Holy Spirit). I am VERY happy I read this book.

The Course is all about Love
We have read Ray’s book A Course in Miracles CLARIFIED. After attending my brother’s funeral recently, my husband had a dream in which my brother was communicating about how much Love he felt on the “other side”. My husband was surprised as the two of them seldom talked religion. My brother belonged to a fundamentalist church and did not like to talk about ‘new thought’ spiritual approaches to believing in Jesus. Studying ACIM for years and reading Ray’s book reinforced for me what happens to all of us when we pass on. Instead of a thick book, Ray’s little book really does make the material more understandable. Love is all there is!

Valuable Resource for Understanding A Course in Miracles
I purchased Ray Wells’ book as soon as I heard about it since I am always interested in anything that will fill in the gaps in my own understanding and assist me with my personal journey. The author obviously knows the ins and outs of the Course extremely well, and has recognized and resolved most of the sticking points that have stopped beginning students on their first work-through of the Course. It has solved many of the remaining riddles in my mind as well. As an excellent companion work for helping with A Course in Miracles, I strongly recommend “A Course in Miracles, CLARIFIED.” - Ron G

Is what it says it is
It's well laid out with easily comprehended language. You can feel the author's feeling for the subject but it's not overwhelming. The referencing is done in a way that doesn't impede reading.
